Nice delay brew and easy to use.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I chose this Mr. Coffee coffeemaker for the price, size (12 cup) and the black and stainless steel look of the coffeemaker.  It matches my other kitchen appliances nicely.  I previously had a Mr. Coffee coffeemaker and didn't have any problems with it except for the paint on the warmer peeling a little and the white exterior discoloring a bit.  This Mr. Coffee coffeemaker has a feature my husband uses weekday mornings.  He wakes up early and enjoys waking up to an already brewed pot of coffee by using the delayed timer option. We also like having the option of strong or regular brew.  It is easy to use and makes a fairly quick cup of cof...

Mr. Coffee's coffee maker is funtional.

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

My 12 cups coffee maker from McCoffee is functional. It is still working after  nearly 2 years of intense use. It comes with a filter that is reusable and easy to clean so the time of buying paper filters is gone. The temperature of the coffee is good, it keeps the temperature well, and it has an additional option for a stronger brew. It has a clock and the starting time is easy to preset. This is very great because the coffee maker is not very quick in brewing it's coffee. The negative point are that it is difficult to clean the inside, especially the spilled coffee grind. For somebody who is left handed like me it is nearly impossible to pour the water into the machine becau...

This Mr. Coffee Pot leaks when you pour it.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I bought this Mr. Coffee JWX27 12-cup coffee pot because we are heavy coffee drinkers - we tend to make 3-4 pots per day.  I wanted a coffee maker that could withstand all the clinking and brewing we do over the course of the day.  Our coffee pots tend to last about 3-4 years before something breaks, or leaks, or the carafe shatters, or whatever.  Based on that, I bought the Mr. Coffee.  It's a manufacturer that's been around forever and it has coffee in the name.  Good Things:This coffee pot brews at a decent pace, which is great first thing in the morning.  It also has a timer which we sometimes set if we know it will be a particularly busy or early morning....

Makes a great tasting cup of coffee.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I picked the Mr. Coffee JWX27 12 - cup Coffee Maker because I like to have a nice strong cup of coffee waiting for me in the morning. In my opinion the best part about this coffee make is the brew strength selector. You can have your coffee the strength that best suits your needs. It has a nice appearance. It comes in black and chrome. It goes well with my kitchen decor.I have mostly black appliances in my kitchen. It is programmable and has lots of great features. The features include a timer that tells you how long ago that the coffee was made.It has a pause function and auto shut off.I have had the coffee maker for about a year.I have not had any major problems with it.The coffee maker is an average coffee maker but the coffee it makes taste great.

Mr. Coffee makers are a solid brand

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I just received this coffee maker for my birthday in August.  I have owned Mr. Coffee and Krups makers in the past, and I've liked Mr. Coffee because the brand delivers.  I really like this coffee maker, and the cost was really economical considering that it is a programmable one.  The buttons are easy to use and not complicated.  It doesn't require much manual reading to figure out how to program your maker.  I also like that it has a cleaning button.  It cleans the machine and makes the coffee even more fresh. I used this last week and my coffee maker seemed cleaner and the coffee even more fresh.  The only problem I've had with this coffee maker is that ...

This Mr. Coffee Maker has everything I need!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

My old Mr. Coffee Maker recently "bit the dust" after 10 long years. I was so pleased with the Mr. Coffee brand and how long it did last that I immediately went out and bought a new one. I splurged and bought this particular model because I liked the color and the stainless steel design. It matches my other appliances as well. This model has neat little buttons and is easy to clean and operate. It is easy to program to suit my needs. It brews quickly and keeps the coffee hot until I'm done. It even has an alarm to let you know it's about to shut down for the day! I would highly recommend this brand and model to other customers!

How to Fix the spill Problem

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

This is a design problem!  Easy to fix, though.  Cut or sand away the edges of the plastic lid so that it looks like a big smile.  See the picture below.  Make yours look like it and it will pour great.

I got so upset that these folks sold that pot with that crappy design. Buy American????  Did we just start making coffee pots yesterday???  Are we going to have to buy Japanese coffee pots to get a quality design.  Whaaz Up??? Mr. Coffee engineers???

I need to make at 4:00AM in the morning the last thing I want is to fool with a useless filter attachment that is difficult to remove without getting your fingers wet..

Also, this coffeepot uses more coffee than the old pot I had for the same strength brew!!  What's up with that???

Does the job

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I've had my Mr. Coffee programmable coffee maker for about 3 months now, and haven't had any major problems with it, other than that it's a little difficult to pour from without having the coffee drip down the side of the carafe. I like that the coffee maker gives you options for brew strength, as well as a timer so you can have the coffee ready when you get up in the morning. I also appreciate that it has its own self-timer that shuts the coffee maker off after a certain amount of time left on. During a busy day I can tend to forget to shut off the coffee maker until I notice that burnt coffee smell, so it's nice that I don't have to worry about that with this model. It also has a beeping signal to let you know both when the coffee has finished brewing as well as when it is being automatically shut off. I've also read that you can buy an optional water filter so you don't have to pre-filter your water before adding it to the machine.

Mr. Coffee gets me going in the morning

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

If I didn't have my Mr. Coffee Programmable Coffee Maker every morning I would be late for work, the kids would have to fend for themselves, and I probably wouldn't be married much longer. I program it every night to come on just five minutes before my feet hit the floor, and that way nobody has to talk to me before I get my morning caffeine. I am one of those that cannot function without some java in the mornings. I have mine (I am almost ashamed to admit) in my bedroom very close by on a table. Now how pitiful is that? However, it works for me. It is very easy to program and it has a way for you to choose just how strong you want your coffee. It does have one flaw, which is you have to pour the coffee out pretty slowly in a slow stream or it might spill over the side of the glass carafe, however, I have had other coffee pots do the same thing. My problem is waiting for it to hit that cup so I can open my eyes and start my day!

Leaky but a good coffeepot overall.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I bought this coffeepot right in time for a sale. Even without the sale, this coffeepot is at a great price. The first week of using this coffeepot was like heaven after our old (REALLY old) coffeepot went bad. It was perfect quality for us, not hard to figure it out, and there is not a ton of buttons to mess with. The coffee is brewed at a reasonable time, and I like that there is a one minute warning beep. Also, there are buttons for Regular or Strong strength brew. I've never seen that before, it's a pretty cool feature in my eyes! It's really easy to clean, and I like that there's a filter for water that comes with it! Also, a cleaning feature for the pot to self clean. However, a couple weeks in and now when we pour cups of coffee the pot leaks. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little bit. But overall as a product at the price we paid for this, it's a good buy. Not great, but only due to a leaky pot.

Mr. Coffee JWX27 is worth the money, but still drips

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I bought this Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker JWX27 at Target after my old faithful Krups bit the dust and started leaking water everywhere.  I wasn't in the market to spend quite that much money on a brand new coffeemaker, so I checked this out at Target - it was on sale, fit the bill of what I need, so I purchased it.  I love that I can make strong or regular coffee.  I love that I can program it and hear the beep when it starts from my bed, because I can't start the day without my trusty cup of Joe.  The downside to this coffeemaker..... is the carafe.  I'm not sure why SO many coffeemaker carafe's leak.  It seems like this would be such an easy t...

Not the best Mr. Coffee

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I was thrilled to get a coffee pot for my Christmas present as mine was very old and was not working well. I like that this has a delay brew but the problem with this one is the lid leaks when you pour it. I have figured out that if I lift the cover off the pot while I pour it will not leak. This is not a big deal but it is really inconvienent. Especially early in the morning when I am not fully awake! I do not mind this pot like I said before but I know when this one dies I will not be buying the same model. I am a single mom so having a twelve cup coffee pot is kind of silly but what I do is brew the 12 cups...which once it is brewed even though I fill it to the twelve cup line it only comes out ten cups...another downfall. But once I brew the twelve cups I save the rest of the coffee and make frappaccinos in the afternoon. That way I do not have to brew any coffee in the afternoon. So if you do not mind opening the lid as you pour it is an okay coffee pot.

Mr.Coffee JWX27-Spout spills coffee all over blonde!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

Mr Coffee JWX27 is a very good looking Coffee machine and has a water filtering system built into it and it brews quickly which I like; but it makes a huge mess every-time you try and pour from it!The Carafe spout is too wide. I have wasted a lot of coffee because it all ends up on the counter and my paper towel usage has gone up mega!

I went with Mr. Coffee because my past experience with them was always good and you could TASTE the difference between it and other Coffee makers; but not this one. I should have taken it back but misplaced the receipt. I don't know, maybe I just got a bad carafe in a particular lot- I'm not sure.

Because Mr. Coffee has been such a ...

JWX27 is pretty good but still could be better

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I like the Mister Coffee JWX27.  I like the timer and the auto off feature that tells you how long the coffee has been sitting after it was brewed.  I did have a slight problem with the filter holder.  If the filter was old and slightly flattened out, it has a tendency to collapse and let grounds get around the filter and into the coffee.  The only ways around this are using new filters or creasing the old ons again so they fit better.  i like the regular/strong brewing option.  I usually use the strong option so I can use less ground coffee.  There is one thing that is pecular about this machine.  To prevent overfilling the water tank there are holes ...

MR COFFEE JWX27 IS PERFECT FOR THE BUSY PERSON

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Mr coffee JWX27 12 cup coffee maker is the perfect thing if you love to hav you coffee ready when you roll out of bed..if you are anything like me i cant function with out my coffee and making coffee first thing is not the easiest thing to do first thing. This coffee maker not only has a timer it has a a button for regular or strong coffee depending on your tastes.  It also tells you when it needs to be cleaned the cleaning feature takes a bit but it sure does a wonderful job cleaning, well worth the wait in book. It also shuts itsef off after 2 hours just in case you forget to.  and it also comes with a timer to tell you exactly how long ago the pot finished brewing so you know you are getting the freshes coffee possible. This coffee pot I bought for about $50 and was well worth it in my book.  This Mr Coffee JWX27 coffee maker gets an A+++ in my book.  Try it for yourself but I can say I was not dissapointed by any means of the word!
