Mr. Coffee 12- Cup Model DRX20 Coffee Maker Review

I must agree with everything the previous reviewer stated about this Mr. Coffee Maker. It is by far the worst coffee maker I have ever owned and hopefully ever do own. The noise does not bother me so much as I am far away from my kitchen, but all of the other things mentioned are so bothersome that I am in the market for another coffee pot after having had this one for only 5 months. The pause and serve is useless because it drips the entire time. I can't tell you how many times I have accidentally hit the buttons and changed the time. Very frustrating.

It states that it is a 12 cup coffee maker. There are two holes in the back of the coffee maker where you pour the water to prepare the coffee. These two holes are at the top and if you fill the water too high it will leak out of the holes. I also can't fill too close to these holes because I have to pull my coffee pot out from the wall to fill it and when I push it back against the wall after wards, the water will spill out if I have filled it with more than 11 cups of water.  

The reason I came to write this review was because after just 5 months of use we noticed the warming plate had a little chip in the Teflon coating a few days ago. Within 2 days it was the size of a nickle. I got a flashlight and took a close look at it and could see that the heat circle all the way around the warming plate had little bubbles and is getting ready to completely flake off.  I am going to call about the warranty, but I'm sure it will still be cheaper to just buy another coffee pot. I'm not sure if it will be another Mr. Coffee. I think I will wait until after I have talked to their customer service and see how they handle this problem. But it will not be this model!
