Mr. Clean Magic Eraser —

I cannot rave enough about this wonderful product, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  Who would have thought that I could easily erase years worth of "permanent" scuff and wall marks with the swipe of one hand?

As with antibacterial soap and 2% milk, this is a MUST HAVE item for any family.  With two young children, a dog, and a clueless husband (okay, just kidding about the clueless part but he has his messy moments), Mr. Clean Magic Eraser has been a staple in my household for years.  No longer do I spend hours (yes hours!) scrubbing a stubborn spot on the wall.   The eraser is SO easy to use.  I just wet it and wipe.

It's easy to go overboard on the cleaning when you use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  I used up one box within days of purchasing it.  The erasers are puffy right out of the box, but they get smaller as you use them, especially for a big job.  I recommend keeping an extra box on hand.  I keep a box in my hall closet and one beneath my kitchen sink as well.

I've heard internet rumors that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser isn't safe for small children (what cleaning product is?), so I don't let my children use them out of safety concerns.  Although, they are so much fun to use, I really don't want to share them anyways.

I've heard about children getting burned too so mine are hidden away in a locked cabinet. I don't use gloves and haven't had a problem but it's better to be safe than sorry.

I've been reading in other people's reviews and commr to ents that some children used the eraser on their skin to try to clean off marker. They ended up with bad burns. I've decided, if I ever use it again I'll wear gloves. Good review, Mindy.
