This product REALLY does magically erase marks on walls, counters, stovetops, even tennis shoes.  I love the eraser.  I try to find new places to use it just to be amazed at the things it will erase.  The one thing that did make me crazy about it is that it falls apart then you have to clean the little peices of it up, but if you put something down to catch the little pieces of it it is worth the extra work to clean crayon from the wall or whatever your mess may be.
