Mr Clean Magic Eraser, Extra Power —

Working 40 hours a week I always am looking for ways to help me cut my cleaning time in half.  We recently moved into a new house and, for a present, my mom bought me a "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser."  I was so excited.  I thought I would try it on a spot where my grandchildren has placed their dirty hands.  Well my walls are painted blue, and I thought nothing of using my new eraser.  To my horror, while I was trying to wipe off the dirty handprints, the color of my wall was turning white.  The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser was taking the paint off my wall.  Since then I have only used the eraser where the walls are white.

Sorry to say this to both of you, but I love what i removes from painted walls, we used Behr Paint, and after running down 14 stairs with 2 30" luggage pieces, that walls had the black scuff arks on them. I used to get the can of paint from the basement to cover the marks of old, but now Mr Clean Eraser does the trick perfectly & no paint loss. so maybe Behr makes the best paint, as I call it.

You are so right seaturtle! I used it on an off-white wall and you can still see the paint come off.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about that. Thank you for sharing the tip though. I'm sure it will save folks a lot of grief. I just painted my son's walls blue. I'd hate to strip off the paint.
