Effective Removes Ink and General Grunge from the Walls

I have five kids and two dogs so I'm always battling smudges on the walls.  When the smaller kids have gotten ahold of pens and pencils and written on the walls, this has taken it off.  It does wear pretty quickly, but they're relatively inexpensive so I think it's still a good value.  It makes cleaning the walls and baseboards much easier and the kids think it's fun so they're more willing to help out.  It would be nice if they could figure out how to make one for colored paint and if you have flat paint instead of semigloss, it will go through that pretty quickly too.
