Mozilla Firefox 2.0 —

Since so many great reviews are already out there, I'll just leave a basic one. Before firefox I had to suffer with long loading times, absolutely no ability to customize, and being forced to open window after window. I was an IE user. A chapter of my life I'm glad to close. With firefox I now get tabbed browsing and add-ons that not only make my life easier but make surfing the internet enjoyable again. The only problem left for me was the sites that only worked in IE. But of course the people who create the add-ons even came up with a great solution to this problem. The point is that if your a casual internet user who doesn't mind a sloppy annoying experience, then load up your Internet Explorer. But if you're even mildly interested in surfing the net, then firefox is a must download. It's safe and reliable.
