I love Johnny Depp :)  He's able to do comedy/fantasy in Pirates but also does some serious mystery/dramas like Secret Window :)

I just cant get into the "Pirates" movies, but I do like Depp very much. Cant really say I have a favorite movie of his, no, I loved him in "Ed Wood". That was a great performance.

Ed Wood was very good!  I actually just saw that recently after a long time of wanting to.

I have been a fan since 21 Jump Street, too. I loved him in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Johnny Depp has made the best choices in films. He's almost always in interesting films, things that are just a bit off the beaten path. For example, he was wonderful in Edward Scissorhands and Benny & Joon. He's not afraid to do romantic roles (like Brad Pitt is) but he brings something offbeat and highly watchable to his leading-man roles. What other extremely popular Hollywood actor would agree to do such a small role in Chocolat, yet make it one of the most important characters in the film?

Yeah, Johnny Depp is one of those pretty-boy actors that even guys like.

I think I have seen every Depp movie he ever made and without exception, I have loved them all. The most recent "Sweeney Todd", proves his versatility.....he can sing too!

I think Johnny Depp has been great in all parts he's chosen. I have a soft spot for "Finding Neverland". He also makes a good pirate. I haven't seen him in "Sweeney Todd" yet.

There will never be another Johnny Depp.  He is one of those actors that is so versatile that he enhances the characters he plays in ways beyond the director's imagination!  He makes them his own.  I guess you could say I am a fan...   ;-)

Ever since I saw a biography show about him, he freaks me out. But his eyes are captivating. He has nice eyes.

He is a very versatile actor and brings out all the emotions:

I laughed and cried in Benny & Joon and Edward Scissorhand

I freaked out with the Secret Window

I laughed (like last night at the slumber party) watching the Pirates movies (I've only seen 2) and Charlie...

I also have Finding Neverland but for some reason I can't get into it--maybe I black out!  LOL

I also cried when I saw Edward Scissorhands long ago. It's sad.

I enjoyed his stories he shared on Inside the Actor's Studio. Johnny Dep is on my top 10 for sure, probably even top 5!

He has a multi-level process to every role he plays! Secret Window is one of my favs! I heard he's set to star in a 4th Pirates of the Carribean and he's going to play the Mad Hatter in a live action version of Alice in Wonderland! . . . I imagine that will be a good role to watch him in!

For all of the Depp fans out there, Depp is also signed on to star as Tonto in the Lone Ranger.

Johnny Depp is frickin' sexy, esp. as Captain Jack. I can't wait for Pirates 4! His other movies are pretty good too (aka amazing - and not just because he's nice to look at). :-)

After 21 Jump Street left the air, I thought "Well that's the last we'll see of that kid."  How could I have been soooo wrong?  He has been able to handle any character no matter how humble (Gilbert Grape),  insane (Secret Window) bizarre (Pirates) or sad (Dead Man) and apparently without breaking a sweat.  When I heard he was singing in Sweeny Todd I thought oh no, his first mis-step; but once again I was WRONG.  Is there anything this guy can't do?

I loved Gilbert Grape and Chocolat is one of my favorite all-time movies! I heart Johnny Depp!

You know what movie REALLY creeps me out and I only watched like 25 min of? Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That was just too weird for me.

If you're a Johnny Depp fan and haven't yet seen Benny & Joon, you should get it from your favorite source. His physical comedy in that film is wonderful... I haven't seen it in years and remember it fondly. Mary Stewart Masterson was cute, too.

You are so right!  My brother and SIL love movies but they don't like to collect them so they have a policy that after they purchase a movie and view it whoever borrows it first gets to keep it.  I inherited Benny & Joon that way!  I love the way Johnny Depp makes the dinner rolls dance and how he chases the hat.  It's a cute movie and gives some wonderful insight into the dark world of learning and mental disabilities.  Another movie that he did good in along the same lines, What's Eating Gilbert Grape?  It's a heartwrenching movie and powerful and after viewing it I never had the desire to make fun of a large person.  Hmm...we need to get busy reviewing these awesome movies ;+)

The scene with the hat is just laugh-out-loud funny and impossibly cute. I think it's that scene where Joon (Mary Stewart Masterson) turns to Sam (Depp) and says, "Did you go to school to learn that?" And he replies, "No, I got kicked out of school for doing that." Hilarious!

Johnny Depp is one the greatest movie stars of all time. It seems he can do it all comedy, action, horror, romance, you name it he can do it. I like how he never change over the years he always has always been the same midwest Kentucky guy that he always been. I am a huge fan of his films. Whats Eating Gilbert Grapes, and Ed Wood are some my favorite films of Johnny Depp. His film Benny And Joon touches the heart and capture a great side of his work.

I was a teen when I first watched Johnny Depp on a tv series called 21 Jumpstreet. Of course I had a crush on him. Now in my 40's I appreciate Johnny Depp for almost every role he has played in movies and on tv.  I love his portrayal of a DID "sufferer" in Stephen Kings Secret Window and I can't wait to see him in the 3D movie coming out soon Alice In Wonderland.

He plays unusual characters easily and it's extremely hard to find him bumbling or tumbling through his roles.  He becomes the role well.  Highly talented and hard to pass on watching him in anything(although I never bothered to watch Pirates of the Carribean).TToni9@Twitter

I'm definately a Johnnie Depp fan! A very good friend of mine is Johnnie's cousin & here a few weeks ago Johnnie was visiting him & my friend took a picture of him & sent it to my phone-really good pic! Johnnie also has a few brother's & half brother's & 1 of his real brother's looks just like Johnnie.I got
to talk to Johnnie while he was there,my friend called & said"I have someone
here who wants to say hi", I said ok & all of a sudden I hear Johnnie's voice.I

I love Johnny Depp and always have.  I remember the 21 Jump Street days.  My parents used to crack up when I watched that and they'd just roll their eyes.
