After years of believing that the makers of this film had desecrated a beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 R/T by ramming it full speed into 2 bulldozer blades, I found out one day that it was actually a '67 Camaro that was creamed. What a relief that was!

I've driven many of the highways and by ways in this film, across Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. While the interstate has changed greatly in the 37 intervening years (I can still remember Debeque and Glenwood canyons being 2 lane blacktop as they were in '71), the backroads haven't changed all that much, although the one lane bridge where the Jaguar crashes is now a two lane and UT Rte 24 has been widened and now actually has shoulders instead of the abrupt cut-off into the desert sand.

Yeah, I'm talking to myself here. I don't mind. Y'all can go about your business. d;-)
