Oh, man. I was definitely not a fan of this movie. I don't want to write my entire review out, so check it out at this link.

We rarely go to the movies but saw Marley and Me (and reviewed it) and loved it. I'm so glad new TV is on. I can't believe Gil Grisham is leaving CSI! Morgan Freeman is replacing him but still. I love the Bachelor too and every Law and Order. We just joined Netflix which we joined when it first came out and didn't like it so hopefully they've gotten their act together. Jo

II am a fan of the twilight series, and I will admit that I was left a little bitterness in my mouth after seeing the moive, I questioned some of the casting choices, but all in all for those who are not readers or who have never heard of Twilight I didn't think it was such a bad introduction.

Check out my review on Twilight the movie!
I didn't think that Jacob was hot in the first movie, but *whew!* For New Moon he cut his hair and gained 30 pounds of muscle!
Ho-tie!

I actually enjoyed the movie and I know that I am in the minority with that opinion. I saw the movie, for the first time, only a few weeks ago. I rented the DVD from Netflix. I think that the movie did a pretty decent job of sticking to the book but I am aware that several of the locations where plot points occured in the book were changed for the movie. I also questioned some of the casting choices because they just didn't fit well with the character descriptions in the book. I wasn't a big fan of Kristen Stewart before the movie but my opinion of her has kind of changed. And Robert Pattison is a talented actor. He didn't have much to work with for this movie but he emotes well and that is something that a lot of actors don't do very well.

I loved this movie and cannot wait till New Moon comes out! I have read the books and I am now re-reading them! So I am seeing again a lot of the plot in the book could have been placed in the movie somewhere....
But I go to the movie to just immerse myself into it! I went to watch the movie not tear it appart!

I didn't care to see this movie, I'm over 40, but I ended up renting it via Netflix. Dang it!!!! I've since bought it and I love it!!! He's one of the sexiest vampires - even if he is a youngster!

I read all the books and went to Twilight at Midnight to buy the movie. I didn't care for the movie when I watched it the first time and I chalked it up to watching it by myself. Then I watched it with one of my brothers while on vacation and then again with my best friend. I now enjoy it but don't love it. I gained some enthusiasm for the movie after watching it with others and seeing what they liked. I now have my favorite parts. I won a Twilight Extravaganza movie package and received a package with tons of stuff in it. I didn't care for the book New Moon but liked Eclipse and totally loved Breaking Dawn! I have written reviews on all four books and the movie.

I loved the Twilight series. I liked how the movie actually stuck with the books plot. I get sick of books made into movies that get lost in translation and are rendered entirely pointless ie The Time Travelers Wife.

Uggg... the movie, no thanks. I felt like it was one big (bad) movie video. My husband pointed out that I am not the demographic that they were targeting, so I can understand why I did not like it.

I think The Vampire Diaries on the CW47 Network are going to take Twilight by storm. I am so in love with Stefan and Damon Salvatore. The Vampire Diaries is more intense and probably goes a little deeper for the thrill seeker and the adult.

I can't wait to see New Moon. Jacob looks a lot better and the storyline for the werewolves is going to be more intense.

If it is as true to the book as Twilight was it should be interesting. Since I did not like the first movie I cant imagine it will improve... but hope springs eternal.

I didn't care for the Twilight movie when I watched it the first time but once I watched it with my brother and then again with friends the enthusiasm began to grow. I have read all four of the books and reviewed them all. They get better and I think Breaking Dawn is the best. So, if the movies can follow the books then I think we will all be in for a special treat. But my personal opinion is that the TV show The Vampire Diaries is a lot better, has nicer looking actors and the storyline is more intense.

I thoroughly enjoyed Twilight and, even though some of it was completely left out, it stayed with the spirit of the book. They can't cover the entire book in only a couple hours.
