Sesame Street turns 40 on November 10! What are your favorite Sesame Street memories - for you and/or your family and children? Sesame Street is certainly different now than it was when I watched it in the late 1980s... and it is even more different than it was in the 1960s! Wow... 40-- who knew.  Mr Hooper, Big Bird, Oscar, Mr Sunffelapagos (sp?) I loved Sesame Street. They always had fantastic artists and actors presenting things. My mother swears it is where I learned to count and say the alphabet before I was walking (and not I was not a late walker).
