Did anyone see the season 6 premier episode of HOUSE M.D. Monday night?

It had to be THE BEST episode ever, does anyone agree?

Yes!! I think viewers may have been getting angry with how mean and obnoxious he was. His behavior had really gotten out of hand. So hopefully we'll see a new (and still somewhat obnoxious) House:)

You bet! Love the show.  I'm really worried that this is all a hallucination.  I hope they don't go any farther with that idea.  I can't wait to watch next week.  His interaction with his staff is wonderful.  He's such an antagonist.  I love the medical story lines.  The stuff is pretty original.  I began watching the show about the private doctor in the Hamptoms and it was a total rip off of the medical mysteries from House.  Give me a break!  I think there are enough maladies in the world they could have been unique.  House seems genuine to me.  I work in a hospital, and although a lot of it is Hollywood, I can seen that real research went into this show.  Keep up the good work - don't clean him up too much, I like him as a tormented soul.  Makes him so interesting!

I've liked this show from the very first episode.  It looks like this season they are going to be developing House's character much more so than they have in the past.  The premier episode was excellent.

I agree !  his acerbic behavior was getting to be a bit too much week after week. Maybe he'll bring along a more 'gentle' side of himself when he gets back to work lol. I do love the show, it's one of the best on TV.

Yes, this was definitely the best episode. It finally showed, House fall and need help from others instead of always trying to help. They made him realize that he does need others and you can trust. It even broke the bonds in friendship, which I wonder where that will go next?

eek! i had to skip through reading the other posts. It's sitting in my tivo queue, waiting to be watched. my hubby is "over it" after the last few episodes of the last season. Basically when Kutner died, my man was done with it. I love watching tv with him, and it really bums me out when he loses interest in a show we both liked. here's hoping this season will be enough to reinstste his love of Greg House.

I completely love that show. There's nothing like house on any channel

House M.D. is my must see show !  It's only been a few episodes that we're seeing a somewhat kinder, gentler House but I think his ol' self is slowly creeping back and I for one certainly hope so, he adds the right touch of antagonism to the mix. And how about Dr. Chase murdering the dictator played so perfectly by the inimitable James Earl Jones, quite a twist happening this season and I'm looking forward to every episode.

This is a strange twist indeed.  Really want to see how this plays out.

Unlike some, I enjoy House M.D.'s maverick-like behavior. I've been watching the show since the first episode, and I love it. While it was great to watch House try to reform himself through therapy, I don't think that the writers are going to completely change his character. If they did, then it wouldn't be House M.D.

Isn't it though?  Can't wait to see where it's all heading, hopefully many twisting turns to come.

I have class Monday nights, so I always miss House, which I followed and couldn't wait to see this season's premiere.

If anyone sees the site watchouseonline.com forget it. They try and make you complete pages and pages of surveys and look at online offers before they let you see the shows, if at all. I didn't finish it.

Go to Hulu.com and you can see full episode of House there with no surveys, and you'll likely find other faves as well.

The season has been pretty good so far, but there is something big coming in November for sweeps.  ( I won't spoil it here)

I am a big House fan! I watch every episode and have the first four seasons on dvd. I wish they kept his hair the way it was though, I'm not too fond on the new 'do. I heard in real life though, he is having issues with his legs bothering him, anyone hear anything more about that?

I haven't heard anything about his legs.  I hope everything is ok.

I love this show and would never miss an episode.  It is one of the few shows I must see each week.  And the best thing is that I really like all the actors, not just Hugh.

I watched some of season one that was playing on USA last night (10/11/09). Hugh looked so young! lol I like watching reruns of House, I never get tired of watching it.

Great episode.  Do you think the relationship between House and Foreman will continue for the rest of the season.  And what about Foreman and 13?

It seems it will continue in a very strained way, Dr. Foreman is slowly morphing into a House-like personality, his caring side is coming up short along with his new responsibilities.  I'm not sure about him and 13, she's seeing the changes in him and doesn't like it so her answer is to walk away.  No matter what it brings, I'm waiting patiently for 8pm Monday night lol.

Do you believe that Kudner's death was a suicide?  I'm not convinced.  I've been to the website and there are a lot of people who didn't buy the suicide conclusion.  I hope that something comes of this query.  Did you know that the actor went to work for Barrak Obama, that's why he left the show?  How about that?  Can't wait for the show tonight.  Giving the kids a snack and they are all in their PJ's so Mama can watch, mostly, uninterupted.  Let's see whats up next!

Watching some movies with the kids this weekend - Jack Black's Year One had 13 as the princess.  She was good - Jack Black would blow my cool.  He's too funny - I'd be all over the place.  I couldn't concentrate.  And Hugh Laurie was Dr. Cockroach in Monsters Vs. Aliens.  I didn't recognize him at first because he has an English accent in the movie.  He rocks! Love him as an actor.  Remember him from Stuart Little?  He was the really sweet dad.  The guy has range!  Saw him on Letterman on YouTube.  I love this guy.  Gotta go, here comes the show!

Yeah.  And the playoffs and football wreak havoc on my Tivo.  Not cool.

No, I think that the best episode was the one about the photographer when the little baby reached out and took House's hand.

The first episode of the new season was okay, but I am tired of the nasty self centered character that House has become and being forced to endure the boring personal lives of the others.

Sometimes the writers like to play ping pong with the minds and emotions of the audience- just when you get bored of House, they introduce another glimpse of possible humanity and then they force another umpteen episodes of his selfish monotony.

I used to like the show, but it just is not worth the time anymore.   It is pretty bad when I end up watching One Tree Hill instead of House- something I NEVER thought would happen, even for one night.

HAHAHA

Next week I think I will listen to music that hour and read a book.

Never got into One Tree Hill, I have been checking in on Glee though, it's not bad so far, a different show for sure. House is still my #1 view.
