Who is your favorite FoodNetwork Star?  I love to cook, & watch others perform in the kitchen, so here are my top 6 picks, in no particular order, of course.

  1. FoodNetwork Challenge.  A duel of food.
  2. Chopped.  Here we see quick thinking, with very little time.
  3. Iron Chef Amrica.  I loved the original, this is good too.
  4. Barefoot Contessa.  C'mon food, the Hamptons, what else is there.
  5. Paula's Homecookng.  She is so down home, it's a  joy watching her.
  6. Everyday Italian.  She's full of culture.  Her food looks terrific

I like that game show, I think they call it "The Next Food Network Star." I like the lady who won it this year. I also like Iron Chef America.

My favorite Food Network show is Iron Chef America and then it's a toss up between Throwdown with Bobby Flay and Chopped.  I can't get enough of these shows.  I really looking forward to September when they will be looking for the next Iron Chef and all the champions of Chopped will compete for the top chopped chef position.

I'll go with, Cooking for Real, 30 Minute Meals and Iron Chef America.  Ok, add the Barefoot Contessa.

I watch Barefoot Contessa, The Neelys, Paula Deen, and Rachael Ray's 30 Minute Meals almost every weekday evening.  I also like Good Eats, Iron Chef America, and Food Network Challenge.

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! The best Food Network show ever!

Iron Chef America especially when the contestent picks Bobby Flay. I like The Next Network Food Star but I think they got it wrong this year. Bobby Flay's Throw Down because he travels all around the US & challenges other chefs on their specialities. Also he is very gracious when he loses - which is about 85% of the time.

BBQ University with Steven Reichlan (I hope I spelled that right!) which is on PBS/Create TV, that's the station I watch alot anyway.   According to his show, the first BBQ'ers didn't use a grate.  They grilled straight onto the wood.  I learned to make naan bread on my grill, thanks to his show.  Indian and Mexican food are mine and my husband's fave, respectively.

Great topic - I need to watch more of the shows that are mentioned here!

I really enjoy 30- Minute Meals with Rachel Ray because I don't have time to make extravagant meals so I use some of her recipes to make good meals that are fairly quick and simple.

I never miss Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It's more of a travel show than a food show, but Guy always throws in enough cooking tips to keep it on the Food Network.

I rarely watch The Food Network, maybe because I don't cook, lol. But when I do, I watch:

~"Rachael Ray"

~ Part of "Everyday Italian"

I remember watching one show there but I don't know the name. I forgot. The host cooks up a meal which she can extend it to a whole week into different meals.
