Pirate Radio
When I saw the trailer for this movie I couldn't wait to see it. And it more than met my expectations. In fact, I may see it a couple more times before it leaves the big screen!
Circa 1960's - 1970's, the BBC decides not to play rock & roll over the British air waves. This left many folk sad. And this caused a few ever so passionate DJ's to challenge this decision and ensure that the rock & roll fans of all ages and walks of life would not be deprived of rock & roll.
The solution: a floating radio station anchored in international waters near the British Isles. The concept was ingenious and makes...

Moulin Rouge is one of the most spectacular movies I have ever seen! It is definately one of the most treasured in my DVD collection! The costuming is just so elaborate, and colorful! Numerous costume changes are modeled throughout the movie by the various characters. The various costumes are quite stunning in detail as well, which plays an impressive part in the movie. The numerous musical numbers and energetic choreography are both entertaining and captivating! The music is so catchy- with its collection of both classic broadway/movie style as well as more modern songs meshed together to weave...

The storyline for Mama Mia intrigued me the first moment I sat down to watch it. The opening scene was sweeping and the music just dragged me in. The rest of the movie was also just as engaging. Pierce Brosnan and the other male leads were not really the greatest of singers, but since I doubt they were ever classically trained, I did not mind as much as I might have. The choreography was fun, whimisical and showed a new side to Meryl Streep that I had never seen before. This movie made me like Meryl Streep more than I ever had before.
The music was fantastic, use of Abba's hits and how they incorporated...

Mamma Mia! (2008 movie)
I went into Mama Mia having no idea what to expect and found myself really enjoying myself, as I tried to figure out what was going on! Since I did not know what the plot was, I at first just enjoyed the music of Abba, which is grew up with. I just never realized that their songs had been put into a movie. In some cases, I felt that the songs were forced into that particular plot, however, for the most part, I really did enjoy it and did not take it seriously for one minute. I thought the scenery was breathtaking; and since I have seen the movie I have had the great pleasure of going to...

Not only does this movie serve any movie-goer justice. Though a musical, it is one that guys and girls can love. A chilling love story with a humorous twist, and musical influences from all decades.
An all-star cast with Ewen McGregor, Nicole Kidman, and John Leguizamo. A beautiful display of musical melodies and a romantic story that would bring tears to anyones eyes. The songs are totally catchy and make you want to learn adn sing along.
This movie will not only blow your mind, but it will also make you want to buy it immediately and can be one of those movies that one is capable of watching...
