So Much Fun!

5

I bought this Motovox Gas Mini Bike for my ten and twelve year old sons for Christmas this year and they absolutely love it! This bike is so much fun. It is surprisingly powerful and really moves for such a little bike. My sons have no problem starting it up and taking off all on their own. I use regular 87 octane gasoline and have had no problems mechanically with it. My boys have ridden it on city street, up and down hills in the suburbs and through huge, bumpy hills out in the country and handled all of them with no problems. I was initially concerned with them wrecking or getting hurt. But they surprised me when they quickly learned how to operate it without crashing. I still try to keep an eye on them though because boys will be boys! It comes with a 90 day warranty. It goes up to 23 miles an hour, which is just enough speed to keep my boys entertained for hours! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good bike for their kids.

One minor defect from being a perfect motor bike

5

I purchased the Monster Moto Real Tree Youth Mini Gas Bike for my nephew and found that I have spent more time riding it than him. This little bike can support my 160 pound frame easily, but height is an issue for my knees and hips after about 40 minutes of continuous riding. I was really impressed with the tire traction when I was riding in the rain. I felt extremely stable making turns, braking quickly, and most importantly hydroplaning was almost nonexistent. I was very shocked by the speed of this bike. I can easily maintain an adequate speed in a low speed residential area without being an irritant to other motorist. My experience with this bike would be perfect if the starter cord didn't have a defect. On my third attempt at riding when I tried to start the bike the cable snapped. After a couple of minutes of inspection a mechanic showed me that the cord was rubbing up against a sharp object, which caused it to fray and eventually detach. This was a simple fix and didn't cost me anything, but it could have been prevented with proper inspection. I would definitely recommend the Monster Moto Real Tree Youth Mini Gas Bike because I can run errands around my neighborhood just as good as a car on gallon of gas.

The engine stalls

4

I swear I don't understand how I allowed my son to talk me into buying the Motovox Gas Mini Bike and a small part of me wishes we could resell it. The construction of the bike is quite sturdy and solid. It holds up to 150 pounds and I have rode it myself - at 133 pounds without any issues. It is a fast little bike for it's size and structure. The engine is a tad bit tricky and the bike tends to stall too often. You would better off taking the bike to a mechanic if the stalling becomes bothersome. I would also suggest that you make sure your child is wearing a helmet at all times in case the stalling causes a wreck. The gas mileage is pretty good but the bike is not used all that often so I can't pinpoint exactly how good it is. Last but not least, the engine is not covered under warranty - at least mine wasn't. Be sure you are well informed about what is and is not covered. Get all your questions answered prior to purchase.

My Older Kids Love This Bike!

5

I'm blessed to have 5 children, ranging from 16 to 2 years of age, all girls. My husband and I grew tired of watching our girls sit in the house on electronic devices all day. Times are different now, kids lack imagination and think going outside to play is boring. We bought this bike to give them something to do and to get them outside more. This bIke is well worth the price, my girls love riding it! It is easy to crank, it has a pull recoil ignition that starts up everytime. The girls vary with size so the adjustable handle bars are nice. I couldn't believe how fast it will go, so I make them wear a helmet when riding, which they don't mind. This mini bike provides hours of fun and keeps them active. It uses oil and gas, which I rarely seem to fill. Gas prices are so cheap now I tell them to ride as much as you want. It can be driven on concrete or in the yard, the tires have a good grip, and the seat is a good size. Recommended weight is 150 pounds, but it will hold more. I've even given it a go and enjoyed riding it! This Bike is not just a boys bike, if you have a teenage daughter this will get her outside, it did with mine!

Big Kid's Best Toy

4

The Motovox Gas Mini Bike is every big kid's favorite toy (and by big kid, I may be including my adult husband in that as well). I am impressed with the gas milage I am able to get with our Motovox mini bike. I feel like I rarely have to put gas into the tank, which is super easy to do and located in an extremely convenient location. The tires on the Motovox Gas Mini Bike are the same quality and material that you would find on any full size motorcycle. I am able to drive the Motovox gas mini bike on multiple types of roads and driving surfaces without incident. The seat is comfortable and can fit people of multiple shapes and sizes. The brakes are quality and easy to use. I have not had any issues with riders slamming on the front breaks and flipping over the handlebars. Motovox has put brakes on their mini bike that are as solid as those on full size bikes that are on the market today.
