I had an i880 for a couple of years and the screen was damaged so I got a new phone. It was suppose to be a better model but I was so unhappy with it that I sent it back to the company and got the i880 again. I love this phone.

My Motorola I880 is a wonderful phone to have. This phone has a lot of cool new features that include mp3, video and pictures. Cellular services are very important to me for contacts at work as well as my personal contacts. After trying many other cellular companies I decided to stick with Nextel because they have the best service. I've never had a problem with them. They are always fast and courteous. There was a lag when sprint took over, but it was a little one and I think everything is squared away. There is one other really important thing. . . .when all the cell phones don't work, the nextel walkie talkie does. This is why there was such a boom for these phones after 9/11 for all emergency response teams. Nextel really does keep you connected!

phone w/mp3 player-mixed review

Although the phone has a MP3 player and is decently easy to use, the biggest con is that it is a sprint/nextel phone. the buttons stick and the phone is over 300.00 which is a bit much for a phone that sticks. it is a cool color and love the features.

I absolutely love this phone. It features web connection, voice activation, mp3 player, camera, and more. I use it everyday without fail. The battery has an above average life and is quick to charge. i use a bluetooth headset with the phone and it was super easy to pair with the phone. anyone can figure this thing out.

Best little phone there is.

Pretty good little phone with all the gadgets I need. Calendar, music player, voice mail lots of fun games including demos. Camera with spotlight. Easy to operate. It's even stylish when it comes to phones, without spending lots and lots of money. I have had the rugged phoned which broke and the simplest of phones with no camera or fun items. And this one now stays with me 24/7. Even my teenage son things it is a cool phone. Finally!!!

I love my i880 motorola cell phone!

I would recomend a Motorola i880 to anyone looking for a phone that will work in the Nextel network!  The i880 has an mp3 player, 2.0 megapixel camera, flash, speakerphone, and an outside display screen that is bigger than the ones on most phones. The camera can also switch to video mode so you can record videos with it as well.  You can turn the flash on or leave it off, whichever you choose.  You can zoom in to take a closer picture or video.  Although, when zooming in, it does tend to distort the picture a little bit.  You can also choose what size you actually want the pictures to be without messing with the "zoom". The mp3 player can be accessed without even opening the phone.  The outside controls allows you to do this. The outside display screen shows you the name and/or number that a person is calling from.  You can personalize your outside display as well as your inside display with any picture you want.  These pictures can also include pictures that you have taken with your phone. The media center helps organize your pictures, videos, and ringtones.  The i880 also takes a removable micro SD card that can be plugged into a computer, with the correct adaptor, through the USB port.  You can put on or take off pictures, music, and videos. The Direct Connect (DC) feature is, of course, my favorite!  It's hassle free for me.  I just choose the person I want to DC and we are off in a conversation.  We could be miles away from each other and the quality of the sound is extremely good! As an overveiw, I love the i880.  I am not sure I could ever go back to anything else!

I'm having an affair with my i880

*I purchased my i880 in february of 2010 at a nextel store. So far no other camera/mp3 phone has lived up to the tasks my life demands. Instead of trying to carry around an ipod, a digital camera and a phone, all i need is my i880. I'm constantly on the go snapping perfect pictures for my facebook and myspace. The mp3 provides for a perfect sidekick when it comes to what song i need to hear to make me feel better on blue days. Then there it's incredible ability to download ringtones, call tones, and games. I'm a big phone gamer and i absolutely love my bedazzled, Wheel of Fortune, Frogger and Who wants to be a millionaire. I literally spend hours a day playing games, so much so, my boyfriend actually thinks i love the phone more then him. But the thing I like the most about my i880 is the fact that it's more then just a phone; It's my music, my picture, my entertainment, my source of communication, a very important part of my life. *

The Motorola i880 sucks because the screen flips and then dies.

This phone is hot except for the one fatal flaw.  After a while, no determinate time frame, the screen inverts for no reason.  For about a week, the phone is still operational, but it is crazy trying to scroll and text when the screen is upside down.  Then after the week the screen goes dead.   This happened to four of my phones.
