Did anybody else have problems with display?

Motorola - i880 Cell Phone —
I have to give it 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1) it was the best phone i'v ever used. I absolutely loved the design and the capabilities, 2) over a 40 day period i went through 3 i880's and am on the fourth phone which is now an i850. I hate the new phone but the display went out on the 3 i880s that I had. In the middle of reading news or texts the screen would go black as if it turned off, but the keypad still had light on. at this point the power button was the only thing that would work. I really want one of these phones but at this point i'm scared to get another one. I realize that there are always going to be some factory mishaps but it is very frustrating when you get 3 in a row.Last edited on Jul 28, 2008
