Easy to use and carry.

I like this phone. I am a really simple, laid back person, so I do not care about how fancy a phone looks or how many differents applications a phone has, as long as it sends and receives calls without problems. The sound volume on this phone is good and wakes me up right away when put on alarm setting for the mornings. Texts are easily received/sent and viewable, and voicemail is also easy to access. Options for free ringtones are just fine, as well as the options for background and screensavers. The camera on the phone is nice, and it is easy to store pictures right after they are taken. I have had no problems with storing and saving numbers for the address book and speed dial as well. I honestly have no complaints about the phone. It works well on a functional level. The sound quality of the phone is nice, and I like the ease of being able to turn the sound volume up or down. I have never been big on cell phones, and mine is only used to talk to my husband and family members in the evenings if I am away from home, or for emergencies. I believe there is an emergency locator option on the phone, which makes this phone even more ideal for emergencies only situations. The buttons are large enough and easy to push without pushing other buttons in the process. The display screen has good resolution.

don't waste your money

This phone is small and not of the Motorola quality I would expect. I have had a bit of trouble with this phone and motorola doesn't want to address the issues. Problem I have had are connection with the net and the battery staying charged for an ample amount of time and these started the first week I had the phone. I called Motorola and told them of the problem and they acted like there could be no such problem. I sent them my battery roughly 12 weeks ago and I still don't have a new one.

This is the worst!

Out of all the Pay as you go services, Boost Mobile has the worst customer service.  They cannot answer your questions on a first call.  They are over priced.  If you are looking for a good pay as you go service, look to Tracfone or another carrier - not Boost Mobile.

my mom bought me and my husbend these phones when i was pregnet. my mom was so afrad that something was going to happen when my husbed was a work and i wouldent be able to call anyone so she figured this would be the easyest way to do this. it has a wolke that only cost a doller a day no matter how many times you use it, and bet of all if you dont use it that day you dont get charged. now if you wont to use the phone part it dose use 30 cence a min.  and if you run out of time all you got to do is go to the store and pick you up a boost card you call the number and the people will help you out putting the min. on your phone i find it very cool and have recomended the phone to lots of my freands

Number Keys Quit Working

2

The motorola i415 is an older cellphone that includes two=way.  This is a pretty good older cell phone and works fine for text messaging and works just as well as newer ones without all the fancy features.  It still serves its purpose if you needed to call someone in a case of emergency except for the fact that we have had 2 of these phones and the numbers on the keyboards have went out.  Noreason for it.  Never had them wet or any mistreatment.  Newer technology probably has taken care of this on the newer models but last year we bought one of the flat type motorolas and one of the number keys also went out of it.   When a number key goes out on a phone it makes it very difficult for you to dial someone if that number is in their phone number, for instance our area code is 740  and the number 7 went out of the phone.  As long as that number was listed in the contact database then you could make the call, otherwise the phone became pretty much useless.

I love it!

I have to admit that it was VERY deceitful to wait to tell me at the very end that this review(in order to be credited) has to be 180 words.  This should have been told up front so I could have the choice of deciding to do it now or a later, more conveinient time.  However, all that aside, my review is simply that I would definitely endorse the phone and that I think its a great phone with enough features to keep you busy.  Oh, in case you forgot(smile), I'm reviewing the Motorola i415 cell phone.  I LOVE IT!!!

This is the rugged rock of cell phones... if you are as tough on

3

This is the phone for those users who are rough on phones, but want a phjone tougher. This basic, bar-style iDEN phone sports a color display, speakerphone, and voice dialing. Other features include polyphonic ringtones, MMS, push-to-talk (walkie-talkie), voice memo, GPS, and Java. I bought this phone as a result of a job change. The company I work for uses Nextell phones, so I got a Boost phone. I can honestly say that I really liked this phone. The walkie talkie feature was excellent and the phone had a good color screen with download and picture viewing capabilities. I found the phone aesthetically pleasing as well. As far as performance, I uses the Nextell network. In the area that I now reside, it is overall good. There were no signal issues, except for this dead spot that most networks struggle with, my home. With that aside, I found the battery life acceptable, and the phone just fun to use. Unfortunately, I had to return it. I seems that in Brownsville, Tx, Boost does not have any local numbers. That was a big no no with my wife who wanted to call me without incurring ld charges from home.

The I415 hold up to rugged use pretty good but the features dont

3

The I415 is a good phone model to use in the field. The battery doesn't hold up long before you have to replace the battery. The sound quilty decreases drastically with time to where you almost can't hear when you are talking to someone. The speaker phone works great as long as you arn't moving the phone around. The reception on the phone is below average. In order to get really good reception you practically have be in an open field. The phone housing is pretty reliable. I have dropped the one I have several times and it only shows a few scratches. If you use a headset with the phone be carefull becasue the connecters inside doesn't always make good connection. The screen has a good lumination to it and the keys light up enough to see in the dark. The key pad is not well protected from water or debree getting under the keys causing them to stick. I have had this model for about 2 years and it has held up well for the field of lawenforcement. The only set back to this phone model is finding a belt case to hold the phone. The replacement batteries cost as much as buying a new phone.
