Motorola - V3M Cell Phone Review Summary

Motorola is a leader in the very competitive U.S. cell phone market and the Razr V3m Cell Phone is certainly one of the reasons why. Although our community of cell phone users had a few critical words about the much lauded Razr—one user complained of dropped calls, and poor reliability —the majority of our reviewers had high praise for the slim-line flip phone. One reviewer stated: “I do love this phone, must easier to use than my previous one, small, easy to fit in my purse,”, still another lauded the phones’ “excellent audio, slim size, and variety of colors.” Read what our community has to say about the Motorola Razr V3m.

I do love this phone, must easier to use than my previous one, small, easy to fit in my purse, but hard to find when it rings and I have so much crap in there.  I cannot figure out how to answer when call waiting kicks in, but I suppose I could read my book and figure it out.  Overall good phone!

I previously had a Motorola flip phone that worked great, everywhere I went around the country. When the hinge finally gave out, I went to replace it, finding out that that model had been discontinued. Therefore I was forced to "Upgrade" to a new, different model. Having heard so much about the Razr,... read full review »

The good: The Motorola Razr V3m adds an integrated music player, VZ Navigator (Verizon's GPS navigation service), and a Micro SD card slot. Like the V3c, it has a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a speakerphone, EV-DO support, and access to Verizon's 3G service. The bad: The Motorola Razr V3m suffers from poor speakerphone quality, a low-resolution display, and no analog roaming. You also have to remove the battery to access the Micro SD card, which is a bit of a pain. The bottom line: The Motorola Razr V3m is the same as the Razr V3c in many ways, except for the addition of the music player, the...

I got a brand new Motorola rzor phone and at the same time so did four of my friends. This was less then six months ago, and mine is the only one that still functions properly. At first we all thought they were awesome and high-tech. but it proved us wrong. two of my friends could not close their phones because the screen would turn all white after you opened it so their flip phones were unflippable. Another one was dropped, not far and not hard at all, most cell phones would be alright i have dropped millions of phone. But when he dropped his out of his pocket while not moving and at only a couple... read full review »

I've had my Motorola V3Razr for about 1 1/2 years. I have not had any problems at all. I got a leather snap-on case to help protect it. I have dropped it on a number of occasions, and it still works fine. It has great battery life. Using blue-tooth causes quicker battery loss though. The camera function is easy to use. With additional software and cable you can connect to a computer and download you pictures or upload ringtones. The camera is not the best quality, but it does the job. If I want a quality picture I use a digital camera. I am very happy with mine  is is a good size. It is not too... read full review »

I purchased the Motorola V3M over a month ago. I am with Cincinnati Bell. I actually got it, not because of the phone itself (which is an appealing pink color for Breast Cancer awareness) but because of the plan from Cincy Bell that has unlimited texting for 5 dollars monthly for each user. My 16 year old son is a power text-er. So I got us both phones, mine pink and his, black. Once I got it I fell in love with how well it sounds and how modern it looks. NO, it doesn't download or play music, but that's what the IPOD is for, right? This phone has all the features you need in a cell phone if that's... read full review »

I so loved my motorola -V3M phone when i bought it . However after a very short time I accidentally dropped my phone and the screen cracked and I was truely torn apart that my phone would easily get damaged like that. When I spoke to my students who had purchased similar phones they complained of the same problem. If you are interested in purchasing a phone like the motorola v3m i suggest you purchase a cover at the same time you purchase your phone to prevent possible damage. However the features of the phone are exquisite out side of the crackage I absolutely adore the phone.

For the price i paid for the my Motorola V3m cell phone, it seemed like a good idea at the time, it was only 79.99. however, now i wish i wouldn't have been so cheap when buying a phone. The phone might not be the only problem though, the carrier i have is probably somewhat to blame. Sometimes i get missed calls and the phone doesn't ring or show me i've missed the call and I don't get some peoples messages. The phone i bought is a lot lighter than other Motoraola razors and the buttons stick a lot. But i guess for what i paid at the time i got good use out of it.

I have a Motorola V3M cell phone. It is the best phone I have ever had. It is really reliable, has great reception and wonderful features. It's really easy to use and has a decent camera in it as well. The thing that impresses me the most about it I can't tell you how many times I've dropped it and it still looks and works like new! The menu feature of the phone are very easy to follow. I don't need my alarm clock any more because I always set the alarm clock on the phone it works great!

The Motorola V3M phone is the best phone I've owned.  I spend a lot of time txt messaging and this phone makes it fast and easy for me to do.  It's quality is great.  I dropped the phone in the toilet while putting stuff away in the bathroom, and the phone still works great.  This phone takes a beating and keeps going.  I would suggest getting one of these.

I have had this phone for two years now, i am very disappointed with its quality.  At first this was a great phone. Then after about a year of use i noticed that the phone did not hold up very well.  It is very sensitive to water including the rain.  The battery for this phone also does not keep a full charge for very long after a period of use.

I loved this phone when I first got it, the slim design, the easy to use functions. But after the second time replacing it in less than a year I started to get pissed. At $50 a time WITH the insurence I learned to hate this phone and looked forward to upgrading or even downgrading to be rid of this phone

The Motorola V3M Cell Phone is a good picture phone. The picture quality is good and it has zoom capabilities. As far as the cell phone goes, it is average. I did not like the metal shell on the phone. It overheats if you hold it to your ear too long! And I am a long conversationalist!

The phone is a generally good phone,  but it is very easy to break. I have been threw many cell phones and this one dropped once and it was done.  I wish the cellphone was made a little better but it was overall a good phone.

Nice slim design. Very easy to use and navigate. Pretty durable to falls. However the batter life sucks. It barely makes it throught the day before needed to be recharged.
