Motorola V325 is a good cell phone that offers more than enough features to satisfy the most technologically savvy individual. This phone offers all the features expected in a modern cell phone plus a little bit more. It has the ability to access the internet, instant message, and other capabilities common to newer cell phones plus it has the ability to take pictures, utilize Bluetooth, and function as a GPS device.
This cell phone is compact in size when the flip top is closed, making it easy to store in a small space. When opened up for talking, the Motorola V325 expands to twice its size, with an assortment of keys for calling, for accessing the menu, and for taking pictures. The menu features bright colors and it is simple to navigate.
Most of the features of this phone are good but I have found a few small flaws in the design that deserve mention. One potential trouble spot is the volume controls, located on the left side of the phone. If you accidentally press the "Up" volume key when using vibrate mode, the phone will switch back to ring mode, potentially causing an embarrassing moment. Another minor flaw with this phone is the vibrate feature. It makes more noise than other phones, with a faint but noticeable sound that is like a duck quacking. People in close proximity often turn and look. They don't know if they are hearing your phone or someone practicing his/her duck calling techniques.
One other potential trouble spot with this phone is the LCD display on the outside. This phone has the colors reversed on the LCD screen; light colored letters/numbers on a black background instead of black numbers on a light background. It looks interesting, but neat freaks will get frustrated with this because the black background means that small specs of dust can easily be seen. They work their way between the glass cover and the LCD display and they show up clearly.
Still, in spite of these minor inconveniences, Motorola V325 is a very good cell phone that offers some nice features, a compact design, and a colorful inside display. It has a few minor flaws, but these are insignificant to most consumers. It all makes for a nice, useful cell phone from the folks at Motorola, one of the industry leaders in wireless technology.
