Motorola - V3 Cell Phone Review Summary

Motorola is a leader in the very competitive U.S. cell phone market and the Motorola Razr V3 Cell Phone is certainly one of the reasons why. Although our community of cell phone users had a few critical words to say about the much lauded Razr V3—one user complained of the “lack a micro SD slot and decent video playback buttons” —the majority of our reviewers had high praise for the slim-line flip phone. One reviewer stated: “The size is perfect, the batteries last forever before needing to be recharged, and they REALLY take a beating”, still another simply called the Motorola V3 an “an excellent all around phone.” Read what our community has to say about the Motorola Razr V3 Cell Phone.

We got the Motorola V3Razr phones about 2 years ago, and they have been nothing but GREAT!  The size is perfect, the batteries last forever before needing to be recharged, and they REALLY take a beating (my husband drives a truck, and is always laying on it while tieing down his loads!).

I don't know...

motorola v3. Its a pretty good phone for the price, usually 120 or so unlocked. but it lack a micro sd slot and decent video playback. buttons are a bit hard to figure out and the aluminium alloy smudges easily. other than that, it does what its suppose to.

The Motorola v3 Razr is a really good phone. I've always preferred Nokia brand phones so I was a bit hesitant about getting this one instead but I'm glad I did.

The camera function is very easy to use and takes decent pictures. The video camera function and sound recorder are excellent extras.

The predictive text leaves a bit to be desired but is the best I've seen outside of Nokia phones. You can adjust whether predictive text is the default setting or not, and you can also adjust where in the menu your Outbox and Inbox and Drafts fall. The entire system is highly customizable, with the abilty...

The pink V3 razr was the first cell phone I got.  I loved that phone.  It was just big enough.  The ring tones could be set for different numbers and messages.  It was really easy to text on it.  There are a list of great features such as speakerphone, bluetooth, camera, and thin design that looks great. The V3 can be personalized with a lot of different colors, wallpapers, pictures, screensavers and sounds.  You can buy ringtones from the Media Mall or if you have the software, you can make your own.  The phone comes with a game called Jawbreaker and others can be purchased if desired. ...

When I bought my Motorola V3 RAZR phone I could not wait to have a slim phone.  I thought I was going to be so glad to get rid of my old bulky phone, but in reality it's a trade-off.  Yes my old phone was bulkier, but it was also tougher.  The RAZR's slim design leads to a couple of problems.  It seems like the top and the bottom half have gotten looser as I have owned the phone, like at some point it could break at the hinges.  I find myself hitting the buttons on the side all the time when I hold the phone.  The finish on it is easily scratched yet buying a cover for it defeats the purpose...

I like my red Razor it is a very tough phone. The phone gets great reception anywhere I travel in Maine. The megapixal camera is great for taking quick pix.The key pad is the only drawback. If you have big fingers like me the numbers are to close together so it is hard to dial and text messege with. The keyboard sensitivity is not the best.Battery life is real good. You can talk a long time on a charge. The outer casing of the razor is tough it does'nt crack easy as a business man who works outdoors that is a big plus.I'm very satisfied with my razor and reccomend it to everyone I talk to.

The Motorola V3 Rzr is the phone I'm reviewing. I really like this phone, however it does seem to have problems. Occasionally the phone will turn itself off during a call or a text.

Also, although the phone has an MP3 player there's no place for headphones to be plugged in so you have to listen to it out loud.

The battery life seems to deteriorate over time.

The camera takes photos that are of a high quality for a cell phone, but the picture frequently blurs in dim light or of it is not held perfectly still.

It is very easy to use, too.

I got my motorazr v3xx about a year ago. It replaced the original razr that I had, now my husband has that phone. The battery is long lasting and charging takes no time at all. The camera is a breeze to use, we used it on our last vacation when we could not take our camera. The features are easy to use, takes some getting use to if you have never had a razr. Will get another one when i tire this one out, as the next new phone will have to be hubbys he will not use a pink phone..

I have had my Motorola V3 Razor for 2 1/2 years. I have dropped it, lost it, submerged it, etc, and it is still the best phone I have ever had. It has some paint chipped off, and it doesnt neccessarily look the greatest, but it works wonderfully! I wish it had some of the more modern features such as an mp3 player, easy internet access, touch screen etc. But for it being an older modled phone, it is terrific! I would reccommend it! And it comes in a wide variety of colors!

Love this phone. Although I must admit I love techy toys and change but have to keep them within reason. This phone is dependable with a long battery life. It seems to be durable also. I have dropped it a few times and never a problem. I do have a hard case on it so I'm sure that helps some. Another favorite quality of mine with this phone is long when open and my voice is not loud so the people that I am talking to can hear me without difficulty.

I had a motorola and it looks nice but very confrontational since we did not buy me it works very well with the battery discharge facility and I constantly had to go off more than 5 times to buy and where you changed the battery several times but I decided not worked well to charge the battery three times per day was well over a year until no change mas.decidi turned to my old cell phone and not deal with this more.

The only real good thing I can say about this phone is that it is very sturdy. It's been dropped so many times & still works. It only has a few nicks & scratches. But the service is awful & the batteries always dead ( even before i dropped it!). I had anyother Motorola phone before this one & it had the same problems.......Motorola, are you getting a little cheap with your products?

I've had this phone for over a year now and it's lasted longer than any other cell phone i've had, and let me tell you, i've dropped it enough times to know that it's a good phone. The only down side is the glass in the front, screen and camera cover, isnt all that durable and i've had to have it repaired, but that's no big deal compared to the trouble i've had with other phones

I live on a farm and so there are quite a few tests that a cell phone gets.  mainly the big one is dust.  It's everywhere.  that and i'm in tight spaces alot so it takes a beating even though it's somewhat protected by my pocket.  But amidst all that, my V3 RAZR is still running great!
