When I bought my Motorola V3 RAZR phone I could not wait to have a slim phone. I thought I was going to be so glad to get rid of my old bulky phone, but in reality it's a trade-off. Yes my old phone was bulkier, but it was also tougher. The RAZR's slim design leads to a couple of problems. It seems like the top and the bottom half have gotten looser as I have owned the phone, like at some point it could break at the hinges. I find myself hitting the buttons on the side all the time when I hold the phone. The finish on it is easily scratched yet buying a cover for it defeats the purpose of having a slim phone since the cover makes it almost as thick as my old phone. Also, I found the cover tends to push buttons when you close the phone. I like the flat keyboard and the camera seems to work decently for the price range. Overall I'm pleased with the phone because it does function well, it has a good battery life, and it was nearly free after rebate, but next time I will do more research before I purchase a phone I think will be great.
