eh...once was cute, now is annoying

loyal to great products, daily driver, looking for durability, not very careful with my cell phone, a person who enjoys quality, a busy person, not rich, willing to pay more for quality

Well, I'm tough on phones. However, I've never had as many problems with a phone as I have with this one. I got my first razr in March of 06 (my husband got one the same day). Everything was going fine when all of a sudden all of the buttons on the phone stopped working except for the power button. Even better: we were traveling out of town to go to a wedding and ended up skipping the wedding because we couldn't find the church. We were supposed to call when we got close and our friends would guide us in but we couldn't because...NO PHONE!!! UGH! Well, I figured that was a freak accident. Annoying, but an isolated incident. Meanwhile, my husband's phone kept getting weird little white dots all over the screen that would not wipe away. We sent my phone back to Cingular and they sent a refurbished razr. How does that work? You send a phone in that was brand new, it stops working, so they send you a used one? The used one is supposed to be better? Anyway, now the new one powers off every time I push the camera button and won't power on again unless I take the battery out and put it back in. The phone does freeze up from time to time: with the screen turning white for no apparent reason. I have always found that when I'm on the interstate (my fastest driving) I have trouble hearing the other person. I've even put it on speaker phone and held it to my ear while on speaker. poor sound quality like that, though. I do have to charge it often. Not when it was new, but now it makes it about a day and then needs a full charge. Too much of a pain.
