This phone is quite durable, but the screen on it only lasts about a year.  I had several friends tell me that they had the same issue with the phone.  I think the problem is that you cannot own one of these phones in a high humidity area.  I think the humidity destroys the battery and that leads to shorts in the phone.  Mine gives me a ton of problems and "humidity" is not covered by a warrenty.
