All in all, the Motorola Razr is a pretty decent phone, especially for non-techy types.  The battery is long lasting, though charging a depleted battery can take a while.  Frequent dropping of the Motorla Razr seem to impact how long the battery will hold a charge, so you'll need to be careful with...

I have the Motorola Razr from TMobile.

PROS

  • The pictures are very clear.
  • It is fairly easy to navigate through the menus.
  • I get pretty good reception (better than my husband does with his Samsung phone... same provider).
  • I have had no problems with the battery life (altho I have heard complaints from friends...

So, it's October 2008, and I've only had my Razr for a couple of months. I do realize that it is the original "out dated" model, but I do love it! My husband and I got "new" free phones when we switched to a new mobile provider, and this is the one he chose for me. It's a pretty nice phone! I love the sleek, slim design and I also love how it's not so small that it will get lost in my purse. I also love that it opens up long enough to reach my ear and mouth like a "normal" phone would. Yeah, that means I don't use my ear piece very much! Only when I'm driving, and trust me, that is also... review »

I am on my 4th Motorola razor cell phone. The previous three all had problems with the keypad where some of the buttons stopped working so for example the # 7 and the # 4 buttons would not work so I could not dial any phone numbers with 7 or 4 in them!!! Also if the phone is exposed to any moisture at all (even just being inside a pcket when it is lightly raining out, it is likely to mess up your phone and make it unusable). I would not get another one!

The Razr was one of the worst cell phones I have ever used. It brakes too easily and cost me a fortune trying to repair it. I had to buy a new phone before my 2 year plan ended. The Motorola Razr is not a dependable phone although it does look pretty cool.

Motorola Razr From Telus

I absolutely hated this phone from the time I got it. I had wanted it from the first time it came out, and I finally got a chance to get it. My friends had warned me about the quality, but I just figured they hadn't taken care of it - an electronic is only as good as the operator. I figured I wouldn't have a problem.

Problems started a few weeks after I got it.

  1. The picture texting was horrible. I would send my picture out, and the person would recieve it, but in my outbox, it would still say sending. I couldn't cancel it, I couldn't empty my outbox when my texts were getting...

In my opinion the Motorola Razor is the best phone for texting.  The numerical keypad is the easiest to see and use.  I have been offered to upgrade to Blackberrys and other Smartphones, but I won't due the fact that I have trouble seeing the the keypad.  Many of my friends have the same phone and are in total agreement that in order to text properly, you really need to see the keypad.

Other features that I love about the Motorola Razor phone is it is slim and easy to fit in your pocket.  This phone also fits nicely in any purse.  One problem I have always found with cell phones is the...

One of the most popular phones out there, Motorola's sleek and slim RAZR definitely grabs people's attention. Armed with a variety of features, this phone definitely tops the list for versatility, but it likely isn't the best phone for people who want a lot of applications and features.

Pros

The Motorola RAZR V3 has a beautiful design, including a crisp, colorful LCD screen; a thin, lightweight body; easy-to-press buttons; a built-in camera; and world phone support. It also includes voice recognition and recording capabilities.

The camera is situated out of the way of fingers and when closed,...

I have used my Motorola Razr phone for over three years and I have no major complaints.  I do not have trouble with accessability however, I have had a few dropped calls in remote areas.  I live on the first floor of a three story concrete apartment building.  There is a lot of concrete and metal between me and an outside signal.  Visitors to my home have had problems getting a signal in my apartment but I have not.  I have had problems with reception while using my Bluetooth device.  I have tried several different BLuetooth devices including the odel made by7 Motorola specifically for this...

the motorola razor is a good phone for when you don't need everything in the world. it is pretty durable and is pretty reliable. it comes in black and pink as far as i know. it is a fairly attractive phone, very sleek. you can also get this phone with most plans which is pretty great.

this phone does not have a lot of features, which makes it pretty affordable to most people. you can get this phone with a camera, which comes in handy in a million ways. i also like how the buttons are very slick and do not pertrude out. this is nice so you don't wipe off the numbers on it.

The Razr V3 is a great phone.  Has all the basic tools an active person needs such as camera, video, calendar to schedule appointments, alarms, games, and the ability to access the web.  You also have the ability to download games from their website.  The Bejeweled trial game which came with the phone has kept me awake during many long hours at the airport.  Its slim and sleek and fits neatly in any of my pockets.  I've dropped my phone at least 10 times and it does have normal wear and tear on the phone like nicks and scratches, but it still works like a charm.  The only thing I've had...

I use the the "old school" razr phone from Motorola, and I find that it is great for those of us who do not need all of the bells and whistles that some of the more "techie" crowd may want and/ or need.  It is very durable and provides a good quality service,  for everyday use.  I have used and abused mine for several years, and have only had to replace it once due to failure, and this includes dropping it on pavement, getting it wet in the rain, and basic everday wear and tear.  The reception is very consistent and sound quality is very good. It was initially very inexpensive and requires...

I got a Motorola Razor cell phone 2 years ago from AT&T. I like some of the features of the phone and dislike some things about it. I like that it has Bluetooth capabilities. It can take pictures, videos and the numbers are easy to push. One of the main thing I don't care for is the memory. I have only one picture on the phone that did not come with the phone but yet, when someone in my family or one of my friends try to send me a picture via MMS, I am unable to download the pictures on my phone or not. If someone wants to send me one, I have to erase all the pictures or else I won't be able to...

When I looked for a new cell phone I couldn't wait to try a Motorola RAZR.  I liked the slimness and I couldn't wait to have a camera phone.  In reality it is rather fragile.  The shiny finish is easily marred so I bought a cover for it.  The cover had two drawbacks, one, it made the phone bulky again and two, when the phone was closed the cover could inadvertently push buttons.  So I had to get rid of the cover and I was back to a scratched phone.  The keypad is fairly easy to use but I find it hard to hold and talk on the phone without accidentally hitting the buttons on the side.  ...
