Motorola - Razor V3 Cell Phone Review Summary

The community is somewhat split on Motorola’s newest Razr (V3) flip-phone. While one reviewer praised the Razr V3, stating “A great little phone that's cool, durable, packed with features, has great sound quality, and is very easy to see, use, and operate.” But, another reviewer state that “I have had my Motorola Razor V3 since March of 2008 and have had the phone replaced 3 time already.” The small and lightweight Motorola Razr (V3) ships with a lot of feature users really like, including styling, Bluetooth, speakerphone and a decent LCD screen, but battery life and reception can be problematic. With such a flimsy looking little clamshell type case, the Motorola RAZR v3 cell phone has really surprised me. Sure, the RAZR style a few years ago was all the rage, but that's not why I got it. I got it because it was free to me with my plan from AT&T (of which I'm *not* a fan, but that's for another... review »

The Razor v3 is a great phone for someone who is just looking for a good regular phone. It is great for talking and texting. The speaker phone is loud and clear, and the keys make it easy to quickly text a message to someone. It holds an average amount of pictures and videos. I can not give you the exact amount of pictures it holds because it depends on the size of the picture or video you take. The videos usually only last about 20 seconds. The phone also has the capability to go on-line, but you have to pay extra a month for it. If you dont have it in your plan, then you get charged crazy prices...

I have found that I cannot delete people from my address book, can't delete calls from numbers not in my phone, can't change alarms after you fill it up. I guess it is time for an upgrade..

I am a firm believer that a mobile phone is an instrument that should be used as a convenient, readily available phone.  I don't need my mobile phone to be a television set, a radio, a texting machine, an email recorder, a GPS,  a messager, or a music downloader.  I need a phone that is able to receive a clear voice communication, that can send a clear voice message in any enviroment, that has a long life battery that can be charged up in a reasonable short period of time, that is Blue tooth enabled so that I can use it in my automobile, and that it has a speaker. My Motorola Razor V3 has all...

See Me personally, I love electronics especially cell phones. I try to keep up with all the new cell phones that hit the market. From Iphones, to the Samsung epix and etc. I always try to get my hands on the newest product out. the main thing that catches my attention about the phones would be the ability to surf the web as if you were on a desktop computer or laptop. It just amazes me how technology evolves every single day. The Motorola Razor is by far my favorite cell phone of all times, only because it has one feature that many high tech brand phones dont have.....and thats the feature that...

I have had a Motorola Razor for a couple of years and it has been replaced 4 times. Loved it at first! Then it was damaged and replaced with a refurbished one which was dead on arrival. Then within 6 months of the replacement, the screen went white. Could not see any thing on the screen. When I would get a text message or voice mail, I could not check it. I could still place a call as long as I diale the number right. Then when I would receive a call, I would be able to hear the person half the time. Also, on one of the replacements the phone would not charge. The jack was stipped out. I am so... review »

If you want a great all-around phone - Motorola Razor is it.  I have had one for a year now and never had any problems whatsoever - very dependable.  I use mine for calling and as my alarm clock basically, but it also has all those little nifty gadgets like a camera, games, internet access, etc.  I think the quality of the construction of this phone is excellent - and you would too if you knew how many times I dropped it and it still works great!

I bought 2 of these almost 2 years ago.  The software malfunctioned on one, but the other is still going strong.  I have dropped it and it's fine.  Pretty good phone.

With all of the new phones - it is close to becoming obsolete. Enough feature for me, but not for those more involved in new technology
