I use to buy a new cell phone every year but after getting the motorolla motozine I no longer have the desire to buy a new phone every year.  I love that it is like having a digital camera and cell phone in one.  It has a 5 mp camera and the quality of pictures is so good.  I love that I can just grap my phone and take pictures of my little baby.  I also love that it has a mp3 player so I can have all my songs and personalize my ring tones.  I love that my husband will call and it will play a song that reminds me of him or my mother in law will call and I can have a funny warning ring tone.  I love that you can put in differant memory cards so you can hold alot of music and pictures on the card.  I have no desire to buy a new phone I just want this phone forever and ever.  It is lightweight and stylish. I love that it is black I think it is really good looking.  My twin sister also has this phone and she will agree 100% that it is the best phone ever.  I hope they make an upgrade of this phone because that is the only way I'll switch.

I used to work for a major phone carrier and have to say that most of my technical calls and complaints were with Motorola phones. I swore that I would never pay for one, and since I have left the company, I have lost sight of that promise to myself, and have purchased 3 different Motorola cell phones, one of them being the MOTOZINE. I bought this phone for the camera. An integrated Kodak 5.0 megapixel camera. Awesome, i thought. no need for my dig cam to be in my purse everyday, i could use my phone for spontaneous decent quality pics. Well, it worked for a while. Then the camera quit focusing correctly and I can now only take extreme close-ups of the pic is fuzzy. has to be replaced. only lasted 6 months. On top of my camera issues, the phone is EXTREMELY slow. the menus are slow, the buttons stick, and the call quality is marginal. If you have more than 20 pics stored in your memory card on the phone the phone gets even slower. too many contacts? SLOWER.. and let me tell you , I only have about 40 contacts! I have to erase my texts daily, if there is more than 100 stored in the inbox or outbox or combination of both, then the phone freezes. I had to almost immediately put a piece of index card in the back of the phone to hold the battery closer to the sensor or the phone would just shut off by itself. Its hard to see the screen in daylight also. The phone also has a weak charging port and has not been able to successfully charge without the charger being held into the socket, whether car or wall charger, including the one it came with from motorola.  It has been a nightmare since day one and with frequent heavy texting I am anxiously awaiting my upgrade date to move onto something much much better.

Motorola Motozine

Comments about Motorola MOTOZINE Cell Phone:

This phone isn't the best phone in the world, but it'll do if you want something that looks cool. The sound isn't too great and the quality of the phone isn't that great either. I have had a lot of phones, and this isn't the worse one i've ever had. So I would recommend it if this is all you can get or the only one you want for it's looks. The flash isn't that bright and the keys do tend to stick at times when you really just don't want it to. Also, the battery tends to not stay fully charged after the first week or so that you use it. You have to put it on the charger everynight just so that it'll work the next day good, but even then it looses a charge quickly. I wouldn't recommend this phone if someone wants a battery to last a while.

Loved this phone

Comments about Motorola MOTOZINE Cell Phone:

After having a phone that needed to be replaced 3 times, I was very happy with this one. Motorola came through with a reliable phone that didn't let me down. The camera was very nice and high quality.  I only wished the keyboard could have slid out but that was not too big of a deal.I did have to have tmobile replace it after about a year because it started turning off suddenly...not sure why but they didn't try to trouble-shoot. I would not have minded if they replaced this phone with the same exact one. Overall- good phone.

I love the camera on the Motorola MOTOZINE ZN5!

By

from San Antonio, TX

Comments about Motorola MOTOZINE Cell Phone:

I really **love **the camera on this phone. I am not fond of the fact that it is not a slide phone - I like keys to be protected. I always forget that I've locked the phone. I will say that the switch on the side to lock it is easy to use (but I still prefer slide phones). I have continued to use this phone because of the 5mp camera with flash. The photos come out great. I have tried to connect to WiFi at home, but I usually can't. I would not say that is is a user friendly phone. The learning curve is a bit steep. The keys are too close together. I will give it a plus for having special keys activated during camera use. It is a long phone, more like a thin camera. I've had several motorola phones, and I think I can say this is my favorite...I've even put off buying a touch screen because of the fabulous camera. If you enjoy phones with great cameras, this is a good option. If you are looking for lots of internet options, this is NOT the phone.

A star for me and it certainly rocks

By

Comments about Motorola MOTOZINE Cell Phone:

I bought Motozine as a part of my contact with T-Mobile and I got thsi phone as it had some of the best features that i was looking for that is

1) It had a 5 Mega PIxel camera and trust me the picture quality with this camera is great. I have clicked some very nice pictures with this camera and I love shooting whenever I am out. It is not always possible to carry your bulky camera with you so this sure does come handy. It has a Kodak Camera.

2) It has FM and radio in it. Which is another plus for me coz I love music and I can hear the radio at any point of time. I did not like the headset too much but I could plug in my I pod speakers in it which was cool. I can go for walks with my phone and I dont always need my I pod.

3) It had good amount of memory. It can store about 1000 pics. It also had video recording feature which is also really good. You can click pictures in dark and it has an option to increase the light level but that feature does not work with the video recording.

4) It has web browsing facility and also has a blue tooth. There are not many games in this phone which was a small minus for me. You can browse the net if you wish in this phone.

I like this phone and I love the features. This phone had issues that it hangs sometimes. But its not that bad and its totally worth it.

Love the camera on the Motorola Zine!

By

from Cookeville, TN

Comments about Motorola MOTOZINE Cell Phone:

This phone has a good quality camera with it.  When I see something I would like to have a picture of it is easy to do having the 5 megapixel camera phone.  The pictures come out quite nice.  And the phone is easy to use.  I also love that I can load my own music on the phone and can use it as ring tones to.  I dont have to pay extra.

Great Phone

By

from Artesia, CA

Comments about Motorola MOTOZINE Cell Phone:

Activated this phone in june since T mobile was having a fathers day sale. I purchased on line based on its functions and price. It was free with the activation and best phone out of the free ones. First thing i did was test out the camera. It works great pictures are clear and even has its own editing even if its limited but has more than my first dig camera 5 years ago. Has a very cool panaromic feature in the camera as well as blck and white and sepia tone. Setting the flash is also very easy as well as red eye reduction. The Fm radio also works great as well and will play thru the speaker of the phone only if headphones are plugged in as well. Screen has greast clarity so no problem seeing the display as well as the browser works well considering its not a full smart phone. The MP3 player is great as well lets you create play list shuffle songs like any other mps player on the market. The call clarity has been great very little dropped calls and no problem hearing other callers or being heard. text messaging is quick and predictive text works well. Have no problem playing games or running any other add on phone does not lock up or slow down when doing mulitple itmes let you exit out game and leave app still running to play later. Battery life has been wonderful when its just working as a phone it will last almost 3 days on a single charge. On the other hand when you use the camera a great deal it does put a drain since screen is always in use and it does have a flash so i am sure that draws a little extra. Using the internal speaker for playing music also has a major drain on the battery but still will last more than a day with constant use of camera mp3 player and making calls. The key pad lock on hte side is also very useful for me sine its just a small swith up or down to lock the key pad to keep unwanted dials from happening when its in my pocket.

This was my favorite phone.

By

from Pensacola, FL

Comments about Motorola MOTOZINE Cell Phone:

This was my favorite phone until I lost it.  I loved the pictures that this phone took and I loved the huge screen.  I did not like the videos that this camera made they just were not digital looking to me.  I liked the fact that you could connect this cell phone to a television and view your pictures or videos.  It came with a memory card like the ones in a regular and you could just use the adapter that it came with and make your prints as if you had a traditional digital camera. This phone looks like a real digital camera. it has a flash and all.  It is a really cool cell phone, it had good reception, txt, and email.  I have dropped this phone countless times and never stopped working. It was very user friendly, my five year old and all of her cousins used this phone and took countless pictures with it.  I would recommend this cell phone for anyone that is looking for a phone that takes quality pictures and user friendly.

My favortie phone.

By

from Maricopa, AZ

Comments about Motorola MOTOZINE Cell Phone:

My motorola ZN5 is my favorite phone.  I've had plenty of phones from the old clunkers to flip phones to sliders to touch screens.  I don't need a phone with a lot of stuff I don't really like all the applications and what not but I do still want some perks like comprehensive internet browsing, a good camera, a video camera, ability to store and play music as well as videos.  I also look for a comprehensive interface when puschasing phones.  The ZN5 is very comprehensive, easily transitioning from phone to camera when turned sideways.  It even has all the camera function buttons facing sideways so when you are in camera mode it is easy to use.  The 5 megapixel camera takes great pictures and has features for different zoom rates and white balance adjustments.  It had the ability to put in mico sd memory cards for extra storage.  It plays music and video as well as fm radio and the speakers on the phone are quite good if you want to listen without ear phones.  I just love this phone.  It's easy to use, has a good amount of advanced features, looks good nice and thin, and was very affordable.
