Motorola - MotoKRZR K1 Cell Phone Review Summary

Cell phones such as the Motorola KRZR K1 Cell Phone offer a good dose of technology without paying an extremely high price. Reviewers like the Motorola KRZR K1 Cell Phone for its reasonable price and also for its 2.0 megapixel digital camera, its MP3 player, its memory card slot, and more. The Motorola KRZR K1 Cell Phone is “A Phone to Use for Many Years Without Fail”, according to one reviewer but another reviewer says it’s “Decent, but Nothing Special”. This is a cute small phone, that works well as a PHONE.

The camera absolutely sucks. There is apparently music capability - I've never figured it out, nor have I really tried.

This phone does what you would expect a phone to do. It makes and takes calls. It has great reception and sound quality....

I was so excited when I purchased the Motorola Krzr.  It was shiny and pretty!  Then I tried to set up the speed dial - what a nightmare.  I even called Verizon help and they couldn't understand the craziness.  The phone is often slow to respond. When you hit a button the wait time until something... review »

I got this phone free with the "new every two plan" but I am considering actually purchasing a phone to use instead.

Problems:  1) The keys are not user friendly.  The clear button is right above the end call button.  So if you're a texter, you can be in the middle of texting and hit the end button on accident instead of the clear button and it ends your text without saving it.  Also, since the keys are so close together it's hard to play the games.  2) My call distinct function does not work so I can't have different ringtones for different people.  3) It's not durable. Every time...

I love this phone! I just got it in April after upgrading from the older LG flip phone version. I love the fact that it can hold over 100 inbox messages and more then 350 sent messages! Using the camera can be tricky at times or maybe I haven't caught the right hang out if it yet! I have recorded video but can't seem to send it to anyone even when I have full battery life and strong signal. Overall though I love the phone it is very user friendly. I like being able to attach pictures to see who is calling and being able to have so much memory on it as well.

I LOVE MY KRZR. I have never had a problem with mine. i have had it for about 1 year. I can not tell you how many times i have dropped mine and still no problems. Yes, the battery can drain fast but all Motorola phones have this issue. The ring is loud so I never miss a call. The pictues come out great. I love the alarm. I use it daily and have never overslept. Its a great phone.

I thought the Moto KRZR was going to be a great phone, and for the first nine months I had it, it operated perfectly. I used to work for Verizon Wireless, so I had checked the background of the phone's operation and possible defects before I decided to upgrade to this relatively new phone. I loved the slimness of it, and the color options were fantastic and stylish. I even bought my sister one, because I hadn't heard of anything negative with this phone.

Recently, though, we have both noticed that the ringer doesn't always work, the text messages often won't go through, and recently, my phone rings...

The Motorola KRZR looks cool, so I got it for only $50 with a 2 year contract. Sounds like a good deal, right? I was totally cheated. First of all, it advertises being this IPOD replacement gagdet and says that you can upload your MP3s to the phone to listen, like you would an IPOD. The instruction manual has 10 pages of how you can download songs via Verizon's cellular store and about 25 words in fine print on how you can add your current music collection to your phone. I wonder what Verizon's MO is? Also, you can't put any songs on the phone unless you buy an additional SD Micro card. They couldn't... review »

My Motorola Krazor stinks - I have had it for over a year and I can't wait until my 2 year contract is up - to qualify for another free phone.  The battery has been trouble since day one and got so bad that I had to charge it twice a day (with little of no use).  I finally brought it back to Verizon and they did give me a new battery for free (I was just short of a year) - it worked great for a while, but is already giving me trouble.  Besides the battery issue - the response time on the keypad is horrible.  I will hit the contact button and it feels like it takes minutes for it to pop up on...

My Motorola cell phone is the best purchase I have made it 2008. The phone is easy to navigate, I get great reception and the pictures are the clearest I've seen in any cell phone. I wanted to switch from my old phone with another maker because of the numerous problems I've had in the past.  I've heard nothing but good things about Motorola phones and I am sorry I didn't try them sooner.  The sound quality is excellent. I have been able to find accessories to accent my phone.  The games and themes fit in with what I like in a cell phone.  It is so easy to navigate the phone that I am thinking... review »

This phone is one that I plan to have for many years to come.  I am not the kind of person who changes cell phone constantly.  I want to get the most for my dollars spent and am looking for both quality and service.  This phone is very versatile and can be used as a speaker phone, regular cell phone, and even supports bluetooth headsets.  I am a firm believer in using a headset with your phone in order to free your hands for doing what you are really supposed to be doing when you are in a car and that is driving with minimal distractions.  I purchased a bluetooth headset for less than $60... review »

My first crazer was a dud.  It would turn on randomly thus running down the battery, not ring when calls came in, refuse to charge on the car charger, and run very slowly.  If you would turn it off it would be better for a few hours and then go back to its old tricks.  I had verizon send me a replacement phone, but it is no better.  This one doesn't ring and completely locks up.  Verizon is now sending me my third phone, but I have no greater hopes for it.  If this one doesn't work I will finally be able to get a different phone (you have to have 3 bad ones before they will let you change...

This cell phone is great.  It fits in my pocket and purse perfectly.  Not to small though.  It is a MP3 player, phone and great quality.  Hope it last a long time because I really enjoy using it and always show it off. People see my phone and think it is the top of the line and would be very expensive but I let everyone know that it is affordable and has many options.  I download music with a disc with my computer and it is easy.  No need for help from my daughter.  It isn't bulky in my purse but not to small that I can't find it when it rings.  The vibrate on it is stong enough that it... review »

I have had this phone for a little over one year now, and I have not experienced any major problems with it.  The only concerns I would voice is that this phone does seem fairly fragile, so I would only get it if you are careful with your phone.  I have only dropped it twice (both times on carpeted surfaces) and it survived both times.  I have a feeling if you were to drop it onto something hard it would shatter the glass exterior though.  I have not had the battery problems that most people complain about  either.  I only charge my phone every three days or so, and I talk on it for a couple... review »

Verizon Account

I purchased this phone approximately 60 days ago.  My first phone I recieved would often freeze when incoming text messages or thumbing through pictures on the phone (not many) while the memory card was in.  (I think this is a Motorola issue period because it also occurred on my E815)  I had the phone replaced in which transferred the problem to now unable to play sounds in pix messages recieved.  I had that phone replaced and they sent me one that the buttons didn't work properly and the exterior pieces of the phone weren't securely in place.

 Verizon even exchanged the phone...

I have had my KRAZR for about a year now and I just love it.  I typically don't spend $200 on a phone, but I saw someone with this phone and they were commenting on how they loved it, so I researched and decided to splurge.  I have not had a day of disappointment.  I have songs downloaded on an extra chip so it doesn't take up too much space.  I listen to this in times of need, such as this morning laying in bed it came in handy.  It was fun to have the song identifier as a trial when I first bought the phone as well.  The pictures come out nicely that you take.   I just cannot say one... review »
