Motorola - MotoKRZR K1 Cell Phone —

The Motorola KRZR looks cool, so I got it for only $50 with a 2 year contract. Sounds like a good deal, right? I was totally cheated. First of all, it advertises being this IPOD replacement gagdet and says that you can upload your MP3s to the phone to listen, like you would an IPOD. The instruction manual has 10 pages of how you can download songs via Verizon's cellular store and about 25 words in fine print on how you can add your current music collection to your phone. I wonder what Verizon's MO is? Also, you can't put any songs on the phone unless you buy an additional SD Micro card. They couldn't include even 50 MB of Memory in the phone itself??.

The phone also has some annoying features that makes it seem like it's possessed by an evil spirit. There's a "screen saver" feature, which makes the front LCD display glow when the phone is idle. This cannot be turned off. Oh, and if the battery has 1 bar of energy left, the phone beeps very 3 minutes...for up to 6 hours. Even if the phone is on vibrate mode, the thing still beeps, requiring you to power it down until you can re-charge it.

The phone allows you to hold more than 50 text messages, a good feature. But the thing is slow. Like, you hit the menu button and 5 seconds later, the thing responds. I'm used to technology that is very responsive, so this is extremely frustrating to me. Basically, it's like they took the RAZR and made it thinner, but didn't make it a better phone. Motorolla let me down again.
