Motorola Karma QA1 Cell Phone Is Amazing.

5

This phone is awesome, I am constantly texting and on facebook. I also can easily check the weather, local, and national news. The internet is super easy to navigate, one touch for searching new games and [ringtones][1] . Add a memory card and save music, pics, and video with ease. the picture quality is some of the best i've seem for camera phones. Alos no touch screen so no worry for the calibration to get messed up and it is super hard for keys to unlock in your pockect so no accidental dialing anyone. Has seperate ring, ring and vib and vibrate options so you are not stuck with one or the other. You can also assign [ringtones for][2] individual contacts, a general [ring tone][3] , and a different tone for general texts, which is nice so you don't have to pull your phone out of your pocket to see that your best friend or your mom is calling. Karma Cell left me in the dark!

3

I loved this phone when I got it! Great keyboard, easy to navigate, compact, has a great loud ring. The back light on the screen went out on the first one I got so they sent me a 'refurbished' one to replace it. 3 months and 2 days later, the light went out again! Needless to say, no texting for me!! Well, if it's an emergency, I can take a flashlight and point it right at the screen and kind of see it. I swear I think I'm going to need glasses after doing that as often as I do. I'm so disappointed because I can't get a new phone at a discounted rate until October when my 2 years are up. So for now I guess I'm in the dark! Display/Screen Quality It gets a bad rating because the screen went out on me twice! Durability Neither one of the two I had lasted very long.

I love this phone! My husband and I both have **Motorola Karmas. **We've looked at other phones and phone reviews, but we're sticking with these. We've owned our Karmas for 1.5 years and they still work like they did when we bought them. It fits easily in my purse or my pocket and it's lightweight. It has a slide-out feature with a full QWERTY keyboard. The keys on the keyboard are raised and slightly placed apart. This is fantastic because my husband has thick fingers, which has made it difficult for him to use the keys on other cellphones. He would end up hitting several different letters at one time. The Karma comes with both a video and digital camera. They aren't the best in the world, but for quick cute pictures to send in a message, they do the job. Just don't plan on turning that one great picture you took into a fabulous 8x10. When transferring pictures from my phone to the computer, I can tell a difference in quality right away. Which brings me to my next thought...I'm no "techy", but these phones are really user friendly. It wasn't hard to learn how to download the software needed to my computer to transfer pictures. We just bought a micro SD card and it was easy. The phones have some internet capabilities, but I blocked that feature immediately because we didn't purchase an internet plan. Just like with most other cellphones, you can personalize with wallpaper, ringtones, and etc. If your looking for LOTS of bells and whistles, this is not the phone for you, but if you just want a really great "texting phone", this is the one.

The camera is easiy excessable to capturen those perfect moments in life you don't want to ever forget. The video is awsome! Just record and send in a message in seconds. I got this phone from AT&T for free after my contract was up. I really like that it is a slim enough phone that fits well in my pocket. As for the functions of the phone, I was far less satisfied with that. It's nice that it comes with the ability to create little icons to easily get to social websites like Myspace and Facebook. The phone isn't advanced enough to be able to show all the icons, pictures etc... on facebook however. It is more for the person who wants to check every once in awhile if they have new notifications or if they quickly wanted to set their status. The phone doesn't have a great locking feature, so it may pocket dial or start on facebook randomly in your pocket. The phone still has a couple features I haven't used very often such as the easy to remove mini SD card (it's either Mini or Micro, but I don't know which) without the need to remove the battery first. It's also hefty enough that you can drop it plenty of times without it breaking. Great phone for 2 years ago, but nowadays, just get something new and it'll probably be 10 times better.

I have never had a cellphone that I love as much as I love my karma! It does freeze from time to time but all in all it's the best phone I have ever owned! Easy to use, easy to navigate through the menus! It's just Awesome! If it ever quits I will get another one if possible!

cute but terrible

2

I bought this phone because I saw some good reviews on some website.  I cannot wait for my two year contract to be up!  It is cute and people think it is great because it has a full keyboard and is a fun little square shape.  I just think it is terrible.  The shortcuts are not really shortcuts.  It is not easy to program or set up the buttons and what you want them to be.  The picture quality is not as good as most phones have now.  I don't have a data plan or connection to the internet with this so I cannot comment on how that works.  The keyboard sticks all the time and it is really hard to write c's and the number 9.  I don't like how the keyboard is settup either.  The phone slides which is kind of nice and fun.  It is really durable since I have young children that drop it and slobber on it.  It works as a cell phone, but there are many better options out there.  I get the same feeling that I got with the motorola razor-it is just not set up practically or functionally.  I will probably never buy a motorola again.

I really like my phone

I have owned the Motorola Karma QA1 for over a year now. The Motorola Karma QA1 combines texting and social media. IM-style messages provide conversational-style communication while you IM with up to 30 friends using the slide-out keyboard. This phone gives you a big screen and a full keypad that slides with ease. Young or old, this phone makes it very easy to navigate. Even though my phone isn't as exspensive as many other, I have compared picture quality, ease of use including texting, quality and various other side options and my phone beats out MANY of the others. It's a little on the heavy side, but I also feel as if that makes it sit easier in my hand. I can text with one hand much easier than most people can with two. The light for the camera or to take video has come in very handy as a flashlight! It's very bright! The sound quality is excellent. Always crisp and clear. Overall a great phone.

Motorola Karma QA1

The Motorola Karma QA1 is a nice phone, with a QWERTY styled keyboard which comes in very handy for constant texters. At first, the buttons and layout of the phone might be a little difficult to get used to, but you'll have it all figured out in no time! The Motorola Karma QA1 also provides quick access to social networking websites such as MySpace and Facebook. The camera doesn't produce very high quality pictures, so if you are a constant pic taker, I do not recommend this phone. At the very top of the phone, there is a headphone jack. It does support the most commonly used size of headphones. It has bluetooth capabilities, alarm clock, text messaging, media finder, IM functions, Video recordings, media mall, and lots more. I like my Motorola Karma QA1 most of the time lol
