This phone has the best reception of any previous phone. With an extended battery, I am able to talk all day. I charge it every other day. This is a decent phone, but it has its problems. The media player and the web browser's functionality is not great and the downloadable apps are quite limited. Motorola E815, great reception, anywhere

This is one of the best phones made.  I have had several Motorola brand cell phones, but the E815 was the best.  Inside basements and metal buildings I could still get reception.  Not perfect but it gave me time to get to a better reception spot without dropping the call.  Several members of my family have also stuck with the Motorola and they have had the same great results.  Several members of my company also have stuck with the Motorola, and had great results.  This is very important because most of the time they are on the phone with tech support.  The company performs maintenance and...

I have now owned a moto e815 for over a year. In this year I have had to take this phone back to the carrier a total of 3 times. It appears to have several bugs that are irritating to say the least. #1 Often unable to charge #2 Camera freezes with the screen message "Busy , try again later" #3 Short battery life #4 Often times will only ring once. #5 Side buttons are easily pressed without alerting owner which changes phone settings. I have had this phone for two years now.  My contract is up but they have discontinued this phone.  I absolutely love this phone.  I added a memory card and my  phone has taken the BEST pictures and videos.  Very clear.  I now need to pick a new phone because I dropped it the other day (one time of MANY!!) and my screen is now broken.  I wish they still made this phone, I sure am going to miss it!

When I shop for a cell phone, I want something that will last until my "new every 2" comes along for VZ wireless. Although my husband has had trouble with his, Verizon has always been good about supplying him with a refurbished one. It is unfortunate that cell insurance is pointless, but we just have to hold on until we are eligible for new phones. Overall, I think Motorolas are good phones.

Good Phone.  Definately couldn't last the 2 years that was needed in order to get a new phone. Loved my first year with it.  Loved the technology in it, but right before the year and a  hlaf mark the whole antena part snapped off. Not just the antena, but the actual piece of the phone that holds the antena.  This messed the phone up completely and made it useless.

Best phone I've ever owned.  Not taking WMA files and not having GPS were the only reasons I switched, but I still miss it - the sound quality is absolutely astounding, the reception is superb, very sturdy, distinct volume controls separate for the ringer and the voice during conversation, menus very intuitive and efficiently arranged - never had to look for anything.

Wow i love the styling of this phone. at firts i loved it and then it began to slow down and not send text messages. One day i was going to charge my phone and the whole usb port fell out! i had the v710 very simialr happened with that one too. its not the best phone but it works!

This phone has proven very reliable over the time I've had it.  There are a few things I would prefer to have in the calendar feature, such as better control of recurrence.  I'd also like better control of the manufacturer's features disabled by the carrier.

The motorola e815 cell phone is a good starter phone but i need some work with downloading ring tones ,screensavers,wallpaaper and games .It takes 2 hrs to download . IT has a good picture and quick phone book.

PagePlus Wireless offers prepaid cellular service. It is great if you do not use a lot of minutes. Limited phones to choose from too.
