Motorola - E51 MD7161-3 Trio Cordless Phone —

When you buy a house phone, rarely do you get excited over the prospect of going to the store to pick one out. Usually you just assume that one phone is as good as the next. With the Motorola E51, that is not the case. The handsets are the perfect size, not too big, not too small, and very solidly built. The caller id screens are large, clear and easy to read with a very nice orange glow. The main base is sturdy, and while the extension bases are small, they are light and seem cheap, though that is not the case. Sound quality through the handsets is fantastic. Crisp and clear, you can easily hear every word of your conversation without static or popping.

There are multiple ringtones as well with these phones, to break up the monotonous ring most of us are used to in a phone, but that seems standard with most new phones these days.

The only problem I have with the phone is that the handsets do not have a tight fit in their respective bases, but that is only nitpicking. Overall a great piece of hardware that you don't have to think twice about buying.
