A farly goot item at a huge price

This phone has lasted me a while but I have found many little annoying glitches and function shortfalls. Battery Life I have had to keep this phone charged when using most aps or just browsing the web. If there is a lousy signal in your area it will wreak havoc on your battery life searching for a signal. Forget about using the GPS navigation function on anything but the shortest of drives. It MUST be plugged into car charging or you will lose all battery power. Display/Screen Quality I like the screen size and quality of picture on this phone. It has retained its new shiny look for over a year and a half now. Call Quality The call quality is pretty good and has only been limited by strength of signal in certain areas. It is normally clear sounding. Ease of Use The functions on the phone are simple to find and use. One you learn about all of the different abilities this phone has you can easily get to all options and implement functions you like. Durability This phone is pretty durable. I have dropped it a few times and aside from the familiar battery flying out this phone has survived remarkably well. I am pretty rough with my phones so that is saying a lot. Design I am happy with the design of this product. It fits well in my pocket, has a decent sized screen and the buttons are in convenient place that do not accidentally trigger. The dual direction photographic capabilities are a great functionality and it takes great pictures with speed and ease.

Good phone, horrible battery

4

Overall It's a decent phone but the standard battery makes it difficult to use it to its potential. It has a quick, responsive camera which is great for taking multiple shots in just a couple seconds and quickly share them to social media. Battery Life This barely consitutes as a cordless phone. Having it off the charger for an hour and not even really doing much on it, you'll see the battery level drop 50% or more. They do have an extended battery that you can purchase (around 40 bucks) that allows you to get more use out of your phone when away from the charger. Display/Screen Quality Good size display with vibrant colors. Great for use with Netflix/Youtube viewing. Call Quality Better call quality from the LG Lucid that I owned prior to the Bionic. The speaker phone element has great call volume and the microphone picks up your voice well. Ease of Use It takes some getting used to, but it allows you to customize the widgets on your screens. You can add your top 4 contacts onto your home screen which allows you to quickly communicate with those you communicate with the most. Durability I havn't been too careless with my phone yet though I have dropped it a couple times without issue. The screen hasn't scratched yet though I typically keep the phone in my pocket with pens, spare change, etc. Design It's a pretty typical android type design though it does have a HDMI output which is great if you wanted to connect it quickly with a television. I've steamed my netflix to a big flat screen TV without issue. It also allows me to connect my surround sound reciever to my phone allowing me to play the music off my phone or through one of my phones apps like Pandora.

Decent phone.

I got this phone a few months ago after I lost my iPhone. Going from an iPhone to a droid was really hard. This phone is okay though. The app store has most of the apps the apple store has, and there are a lot of free apps you can download too. The camera is mediocre at best. I get a lot of blurry pictures, and the lighting is almost always off. Videos lag a bit when you play them or take them. There are some decent cases you can get from amazon for the phone. My biggest pet peeve is the battery life. I even bought a brand new battery for this phone, and it still does not stay charged more than a few hours. It is a decent phone that will get me through the next 10 months until I can upgrade. Overall, the phone is fairly simple to figure out. You can connect it to facebook and import your contacts into your phone, and you can save your contacts so that they transfer to a new phone too. I would suggest getting this phone for a teenager, or maybe even for someone who has never had a smart phone before. It is a decent phone, but I will definitely be going back to iPhone as soon as I can.

My phone

I really enjoy my phone, it has a decent battery life and can handle the apps I use. There are alot of apps that are automatically downloaded that I hate and probably do mess with the speed of the device, but all in all is a good one. I would suggest this phone to others.

I like this phone but...kinda laggy?

I've used my Bionic for quite a while now and I personally like it a great deal for what I need it for. I kind of use it like a portable computer - I check my email with it, read stuff online when I'm bored waiting in the doctor's office, play games, etc., etc. I didn't have many issues with it in terms of it breaking down unexpectedly. My only problem with it is that it feels like it's slower than it should be? This is also my first smartphone and I've had it for a couple of years, but somehow it feels like it lags more than other smartphones that i've played with belong to my friends. For example, I observe lagging issues sometimes when I just attempt to slide to the next desktop. It takes forever for the Task Killer app to come up as well, which I'm guessing is because it's spending a long time figuring out what's active that needs to be killed. The weird thing is, I have seen other people's smartphones and they'd have like 20-30 games downloaded. I have 3. Actually now I'm down to 2. And it's STILL behaving like I'm using up all of the memory. :\ On the other hand my dad also has the exact same phone and he reported that his phone is very fast. I'm not sure if I just really "lucked out" and got the rotten apple of the bunch but...oh I did notice that if I Force Stop all of the Google applications (except Gmail) it seemed to have sped up a little. Just a little though. Other than the minor lag issue, I personally love this phone and I refuse to go without it anymore (or I guess my next upgrade comes along I'll be getting the next iteration of this phone...and after that if there's no Bionic 3 i'll just be getting another smartphone haha).

This is the 1st and only smartphone so far that I've had. I like it a lot. I wanted a smartphone so I could keep up on the sports scores and do things on the internet while away from home. I like the format of this smartphone. I was scared to get a smart phone because I din't know if I would be able to figure it out. I was able to figure out a lot of different things that it did. Some of my friends have the same phone and they haven't really had any problems with their's. When I got my phone,my friends that have the same phone said that they would help me if I had any problems or questions about the phone. Battery Life Adequate battery life. When you have a smartphone it has to be charged more often then a regular cell phone. Display/Screen Quality Great display Call Quality I can hear very well . It's clear Ease of Use Very easy to use. Easier then i thought it would be to use. Durability It's durable enough. Design I really like the design of it. I really like the gel cover to protect the phone.

Love this phone

I was using a Windows phone which was broken when my son threw it and got this one off Craigslist...it was used. But I love this phone!! It has a nice big screen that allows me to see whatever I need. It was super easy to set up. It didn't take long at all for me to link my accounts to the phone and then everything was ready to go. As I asked, it imported all of my Facebook contacts in and all the info was there. The only thing I don't like is that I can't edit those contacts to include phone numbers and such. I really love the feature of your favorite contacts being available on one of the home screens. It makes it very easy to get to my most contacted people. I also love how easy it is to customize the screens. It is a very durable phone! After breaking 2 of my last phone, this one has been thrown and dropped and there is not a scratch on it. I do not use a screen protector and I don't worry about it scratching at all.

Best Phone Ever!

I have loved this phone from the moment I got it! Battery Life I usually charge it at my computer either at night, sometimes at work during the day. It's never been a problem for me. Call Quality Never had a dropped call...very clear quality. Ease of Use Took me a while to get used to the whole app thing....but now I love it!

Not A Very Good Phone!

I purchased this phone for my Daughter for Christmas. I didn't do any research, I let her pick out the phone she wanted and purchased it. That was my first mistake. From day one we began having problems with the phone beginning with a locked bootloader that we could not unlock! We have had to contact our cell phone company as well as Soni (the manufacturer) many times. We were told by more than one customer service rep that there are known issues with this phone and that they are working on it and trying to get a downloadable upgrade. So far nothing we have done has worked. We even took the original phone back and got it exchanged for a brand new phone but we had the exact same problems on the new phone. The battery life is terrible. My Daughter has her phone charging any time she is near an outlet, otherwise she won't have the battery life to use it.

One year of good service so far.

This Droid is my second smartphone. My first was a Blackberry, which I thought was amazing until I received my Droid. It has served me well. The last software upgrade was a huge learning curve as it completely changed the phone's functionality but the changes were improvements once I learned them. Battery Life When it was new, the battery life on my Droid was great. As it has aged, this has decreased significantly. I typically need to charge at least once per day now. Display/Screen Quality I have absolutely no complaints about the screen. Call Quality This seems to be another age issue, but in the past month I've had quite a few calls in which the person on the other end could barely understand me. Until then it has been good. Ease of Use Easy to use until they change the software. Durability I've dropped it a couple of times on asphalt (with a case) and, in spite of coming apart and the battery falling out once, it has continued to work.
