It"s a great inexpensive phone that meets my needs.

I've had this phone for 10 months, and have had no problems at all. It is compact and easy to manage. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, so this meets my needs completely. The price is very affordable, and I am completely satisfied. I've had no dropped calls or transmission problems.

The Motorola V220 Cell Phone is a good basic phone.

I was pretty happy with the Motorola V220.  I used it for basic emergency and in-car calling, but I switched carriers and wanted a "texters" phone, so I've sent it for recycling now.   It's not very stylish as flip phones go, but it's simple to use and small enough to fit in my pocket (as well as the cell phone pocket of my purse).  The screen is small and not very vivid and you can't adjust the brightness, which is a hassle in a dark place, but the keys are backlit - great for dialing/texting in low light areas.  The speakerphone has adequate sound, but you can't activate it until you're on a call.   Data features aren't extensive, but I didn't need much anyway.  You can download a lot of things, including many ringtones, MP3s and movies (I never tried the movie feature, though).  The phone has a vibrate mode, voice dialing (which is great for driving!), text message capability, a calendar, calculator, alarm clock and call recording. It also has a dedicated menu for paying your bill and viewing your minutes balance, which saves time for me. The photos the camera takes are a little blurry, but that's to be expected with this simple of a phone.  This is definitely not a high tech phone (or one for lots of texting), but it was cheap and served my purposes.  Motorola has rolled out the V600 and V400 models, so if you want something with more features you might check those out.

If you want to get the cheaper phones, this is the one to get.

This phone is pretty good if you need cheap plans and cheap phones. So, for instance, if you only use your cell phone for emergencies contacts and not conversations, this is the phone to use. The way to get the cheapest plan is to get the cheapest phone with the company and do basic plan, in which you pay by the minute. I think most plans are about twenty-five cents per minute, so if you use less than thirty minutes per month, this is the plan to get with this cheap phone. This phone's digital camera is not well, if you want to have better camera, I would suggest you get an more advanced phone, if you only need a phone for the purpose of calling and emergencies, this phone with the plan will best suit you. The good thing about having a phone like this is that if you drop it a couple of times, it won't do much damage. But for those advance phones, the screens are super sensitive, if you drop it you might possibly break it.
