I am a proud owner of a Honda VTX1800! There is no other bike that compares. I get asked everyday why I don't own a Harley? All I have to say is if you've ever get a chance to ride a VTX 1800 take it. The VTX is the most customizible bike around. I have easily added ape hanger handlebars, screamin eagle pipes, and numerous other things and I still haven't come close to what I would have to pay for a Harley. Also, Harley doesn't have an 1800cc engine either. This bike isn't made for smaller people though. It is a huge bike with a very stable ride. If your over 6 foot tall try it you'll like… read full review »

I have owned both a 1969 CB450 and now a 1987 Rebel 450 CMX.  Love them both.  The 87 is solid, dependable transportation.  It starts every time, and with 28000 miles, still has great compression and gets an average 68.5 mpg.  Just goes to show you not all are lemons.  It has had a new clutch and chain @ 25k, had routine maintenance other than that.  I love my… read full review »

I purchased a 1999 Shadow VT1100c3 Aero from a private owner with less than 3000 miles on it.  This bike is AWESOME!  I was a bit concerned about these v-twin bikes vibrating after reading a few reviews, but those concerns melted away after I took this bike for a spin!  It was really a non-issue. — The bike has plenty of hp for 2-up riding and can move when you want it to.  Even with the 1100cc engine, I get about 45-48mpg.. and that is really nice with $4.15 per gallon of gas.  — The Shadow Aero is a great looking bike.  It rides great and… read full review »

Don't get me wrong. I love my bike, but I miss the pick-up of my DYNA Wide Glide. It could possibly be the (96B) balanced engine, but you can't beat the ride! It's definatly got a better ride that the DYNA.… read full review »

I've had this bike for 3 years now, and it has consistently delivered 52+mpg.  It has plenty of power for 2 riders.  The seat height is low so it's comfortable for shorter riders.  The parts are typically priced for a motorcycle, and the oil filter can be purchased at non-cycle places saving the rider money.  The factory seat is adequate for the rider, but I updated mine due to the lack of padding for long rides for my… read full review »

Suzuki Boulevard M50 - 2006 Motorcycle

I highly recommend this motorcycle for performance and handling. The 805cc engine is water cooled and fuel injection giving you all the power you will need. — The stock seat is highly uncomfortable because your tailbone sits on 2 bolts underneath the cushion. After a 30 minute ride you begin to experience some real pain in tailbone. To provide relief I ordered a custom Corbin leather seat which will fit the Suzuki M50 and the good news is that you do not have to reconfigure anything because one bolt already in place is all it takes to attach one piece seat which includes room for a… read full review »

Last October (2007), I bought an '07 Bonneville America from Erico Motorsports in Denver. I have put about 900 miles on it since, and I have to tell you that I love it. — — The 07/08 Triumph lineup is sweet indeed. I ahve been wanting an America or Speedmaster for the past few years, and in October, when Triumph was doing their $1200 in accessories special, I called around and made myself a deal on a shiny new America. — — The first thing I did to it was to remove the air injection and replace the pipes with a set that has a little more attitude. Off the showroom… read full review »

The 2007 Yamaha FZ-6 is a very versatile, middleweight with fuel injected R6 power and light, strong aluminum frame with a swing arm, four-pot brake caliper, fairing, seat, and fuel injection. The bike is strongly built to do almost anything and to take you anywhere. This is the bike you will ride to work during the week and through serpentines in the weekends, satisfaction included. — The headlights give the bike its cool looking face and the windscreen provides aerodynamics. Fairing, windscreen and high quality paint look great and reduce turbulence. The gas tank has a very… read full review »

Harley-Davidson has developed some exciting bikes since they became employee owned, teetering on the verge of bankruptcy in the mid-eighties. What a turn around for the company, from just about out of business to a lean and mean organization that has case studies written about the excellence of its management for use in prestigious business schools. — — Harley's strength has always been in their heavyweight motorcycles and they have an impressive array of models to choose from. Each model has plenty of unique details to delight your eye and the thumpa-thump idle is guaranteed… read full review »

JUN

The Fat Boy is a member of the Harley Softail family with the sleek appearance of the old rigid frame Harleys of yesteryear but the modern ride comfort of the shock absorbers hidden underneath. — — The name comes from the brawny appearance with the chunky tires fore and aft, large chrome forks, and 5 gallon gas tank. There is nothing fat about the engine, Harley-Davidson's proven Twin Cam B V-Twin whose displacement is 96 cubic inches (1600 cc). The engine has ESPFI - Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection standard for easy start up and better fuel economy. With the new… read full review »

2005 Yamaha V-Star Classic — — This is a full sized cruiser at a mid-sized price. The Yamaha V-Star Classic takes its styling cues from the old Harley Davidson cruisers of the 1950s with the rigid frame and large V Twin engine. — — Yamaha goes a step further past the appearance and updates the bike to take advantage of the modern technology available to make a world class motorcycle at an affordable price. — The V-Star Classic has a 650 cc engine (40 cubic inch) with single overhead cams, dual Mikuni carburetors, and shaft drive. I've had my "Bones for about 2 months now, whish I could say I have had it longer - but the Crossbones hasn't been available for long. — — The first thing that grabbed me was the way it looks, it's got what you need, and quite a few nice features.  When you ride away on tis bike you will notice that the engine, although hard mounted to the frame dosen't vibrate particularly, this due to the 96B Balanced engine.  The next thing that grabs you is "Lord this thing has a bunch of torque"-open the throttle and this fuel injected gem takes off - what a rush.  Power is… read full review »
