I bought the Mother's Touch baby bather when I went out of town and obviously couldn't pack my baby's bathtub. I figured it was inexpensive enough and I could bring it back with me (it folds flat), so I bought it. It seemed like a good idea- the seat reclines for younger babies, it has a little headrest, the seat is meshy yet soft so the water goes through but doesn't affect baby's sensitive skin, and it just seemed like a great idea. Well, it wasn't. It doesn't recline as far as the pictures make it appear. The headrest appears in the pictures to keep baby's head more in position (like a carseat head support) but it is less than an inch thick around the edges and does nothing but add a washcloth-type material under baby's head. I did NOT feel safe having my baby in this product while being bathed. She could have easily slipped to the side and landed in the water or hit her head. I suppose if you are an expert baby bather and your baby lays perfectly still, this could work, but I don't like it at all.
