Motherhood Maternity Jeans Review

As a petite mother to be, I was extremely dissapointed in the cut and fit of Motherhood Maternity jeans.  I felt that my belly size was fairly typical of someone of short stature at 5'2", but these jeans just did not fit well.  The wide fabric covered elastic waist band was the feature that drew me to Motherhood Maternity brand jeans, as they seemed like they would be very comfortable.  In fact, this band would make the jeans slip down my belly as I was walking, so that I was constantly hiking my pants up and adjusting a lot of bunchy, ill fitting denim in the crotch area.  They did not wash well, and I found that after only a few washes the denim shrunk, making the pants too short, and the waist pucker out around the waist band.  These were all around ill fitting pants and I would not recommend them to anyone wanting to get much wear out of their maternity wardrobe, save them for a second pregnancy or pass them along to a friend.
