These are good treats, don't misunderstand that they are't. Some dogs, especially the small breed dogs are very "picky" and will take you to the poor house searching for something they like.

I am a large breed dog person. I have two German shepherd dogs that will eat anything. They do not have a picky bone in their bodies. I used to buy ALL of the better dog treats for them, thinking I was doing them a big favor and making myself feel good. All I was doing was putting extra weight on their bodies, and we all know what a problem that is.

So, we live on a fixed income and to save money, I give my dogs two pieces of their dog food as a treat. They eat a premium dog food and guess what... they love it!! What more could I ask for?  And these  dogs are smart, obedient trained as well as hand trained. All they care about is being rewarded for being good dogs.

Final thought:  It is so easy to put weight on our animals (and ourselves), but it is so difficult to take off !!
