Mortal Kombat Armageddon suceeds in many ways, but is a little lacking. The first thing one notices when starting it up is that every fighter from every Mortal Kombat game (of the regular series anyway) is immediatly availible upon start-up. FINALLY. The game includes 4 new characters that can be unlocked, including Blaze, the final boss. There is finally a very in depth character creator, and you can easily make replicas of the original look of the fighters in the first trilogy. Mortal Kombat Armageddon is different than most of the mortal kombat games. You are not just fighting you are going on a bunch of missions and traveling through different worlds. You are trained on how to use your special abilities so the game is not too hard if you are not a game savvy individual, which I am not. Also, what you choose to do changes the game so you can play it a second time and it will not be exactly the same. You also have the ability to create your own fighter. You have a great deal of choices as to what they wear, what they look like and even what moves they do. ...review »
