Mortal Kombat Armageddon is different than most of the mortal kombat games.  You are not just fighting you are going on a bunch of missions and traveling through different worlds.  You are trained on how to use your special abilities so the game is not too hard if you are not a game savvy individual, which I am not.  Also, what you choose to do changes the game so you can play it a second time and it will not be exactly the same.  You also have the ability to create your own fighter.  You have a great deal of choices as to what they wear, what they look like and even what moves they do.
