Friends of Rescued Mastiffs is a great charity that helps English Mastiffs find homes. They will take in a sick or unwanted mastiff and care for and find a loving home. I have 3 rescued mastiffs and one foster dog. They have been a big support. The biggest challenge is the lack of volunteers to help foster and place dogs. The web-site needs help as well. Most of the dogs that come into the "system" are heartworm positive which is a hard treatment. The dog must be confind with very limited exercise for 30 days after treatment. It is also expensive. This is a wounderful run shelter ,the staff is very nice , the animals are clean and healthy . They spay or neuter them for you and do vacinations . they have a trainer so the animal is friendly and behaved , I adopted my Chihuahua Margurett , She is so special . A very nice place.
