I'm really intrigued by these veggie products from Morningstar Farms. I'm trying to get my high cholesterol down by reducing the amount of meat I intake and so I thought these would be a great option. Indeed, they taste really nice. The outer edge is panko-like crispy bread crumbs which gives you a great crunch and the center is relatively moist and chicken-like in terms of taste. In fact generally speaking they do rather taste like McDonalds chicken nuggetts, except of course there is no meat products in these veggie patties. I love McDonalds nuggetts and these are every bit as good. The seasoning is perfect in terms of the taste however the salt content is somewhat high. Once in a while, Morningstar Farms brings out a coupon in the Sunday paper which I make full use of. Would I buy them without a coupon? On grounds of me needing to reduce my cholesterol, probably yes!

Morningstar Farms Chik Patties make mealtime easy! They are delicious in a sandwich, with cheese and tomato sauce to make "Chichen" Parmesan, or on their own. Lots of protein, not too much fat, and just enough spice to keep it lively. Popular with the adults and kids in my house at lunch and dinner (and occasionally breakfast, too!).

I've been vegetarian my whole life and started eating these about the time they first came out! My meat-eating friends tell me they taste pretty darn close to McDonald's chicken nuggets and that they had no idea 'fake meat' could taste so good. I have nothing to compare it to, but these taste great! I prefer to cook them on the stove so that they are crunchier. They are best with ketchup or sweet and sour sauce in between two pieces of bread. Morningstar chick patties are filling and are low in fat and high in protein! The only downsides to me are that after a while they start feeling really oily. Personally I feel sick to my stomach when I eat greasy food. These aren't greasy persay but something about the oil and the salt content make me feel a little sick. Oh, and they aren't the cheapest.

I was a vegetarian for over eleven years and during that time I was introduced to this product. At this point, I only eat chicken and fish but I still enjoy vegetarian products and this one remains to be one of my favorites. I highly recommend cooking the pattie in the oven to give it a great crispness--they can be cooked in the microwave but the oven takes it to another level. I enjoy putting the pattie on a bun with condiments that I would normallly but on a chicken sandwich and I find it extremely enjoyable and tasty. I would recommend this product to anyone who may be wanting to be a little more healthy conscious or try out vegetarian products for the first time. Mornigstart also makes nuggets that are delicious--again, heat the oven for optimal enjoyment and you'll never know you're not eating actual chicken. I think this product is a healthy, tasty alternative for both vegetarians and meat-lovers alike.

I am not a true vegetarian but I do enjoy walking on the side of eating less meat whenever I can and Morning Star foods is an excellent way to get the foods I love with less fat and sodium but in better format of food health.  The only think I don't care for in this particular product is the crust or coating.  It may not be necessarily fried but it does seem so when I cook them up.  I enjoy putting them on the top oven grill and using water to "fry" them through.  I also saute onions and mushrooms to put on top of these patties.  THey are a little thin so I feel the need to build up the patty for my husband.  Put the sauteed onion along with lettuce, tomato and alfalfa sprounts, and an excellent sandwich I do have for the entire family.   I do, however, adore the other products from them.  These patties are really good and cook up fast for a tasty meal in a hurry.  My and husband love them and I feel that I am doing something good for their health.
