Although as a Southern gal, I do appreciate the tradition of a good ole Moon Pie, this snack is hard to enjoy as an adult as much as I did as a kid.   Maybe my tastes have changed, but it just seemed oily, gritty and crumbly.  The chocolate flavor lacked depth and character.  Tasted very artificial, not fudgy enough.  Eyew.
