Montreal is Europe without the hassle!

Mon Dieu! It's Affordable Europe, and only a few hours hours away!
I have spent time in Quebec, so jumped at the chance to enjoy a press trip to Montreal. I was so busy, though, I didn't have time to do any research, much less bone up on French. None of that mattered, however. Everyone in Montreal speaks fluent English as well as French (and many speak other languages as well; French Canadians have great educations).

Beautiful Peaceful City - Things to do even in the Winter Months

We just came back from a short weekend trip (3 days) to Montreal. It's right in the middle of winter so it was quite cold and probably not as much to do as in the summer. But it was still surprisingly enjoyable. We flew there from NY even though in the summer we would probably opt to drive (although high gas prices doesn't make it necessarily a better alternative with only 2 people).

We went to the:
Archeological Museum $13 per adult & Canadian History
Notre Dame Cathedral $5 per adult
Walked through the various neighborhoods

Olympic Stadium and observation tower
+ Biodome => $25.50 per adult for both...
