Loved the Monte Carlo

We stayed at the Monte Carlo and had a FANTASTIC time. We were on our honeymoon and upgraded to a spa suite. We faced the construction but had a great view of the pool. The first morning we awoke to some major construction jack hammering. Which was very loud and noticable. So instead at night we made sure to turn the auto fan on, so we had back ground noise while sleeping and then we slept like babies! The beds are amazing, we had a king with feather pillows and duvet!!!! Also upgrading we got some coupons, like a free desert and deals through out the hotel. We loved the brew pub, and the cafe. Both had amazing quantities of food. Both times we ordered from each we could of split the amount of food in half. Huge meals, so maybe think of sharing. Also, the brew pub has the best vegas lite beer, and the BEST 10 oz burger I've ever had. Its like a steak on a bun. Also at the pub try a giraffe they are definatly the neatest thing I have ever seen. As for the casino every night we toured the strip and always came back to our casino. Ours was usually one of the busiest ones. The service was great one night we were there and played and drank for 5 hours. The waitress ALWAYS came back to check on us. Just make sure to start her off with a good tip and she will for sure come back. Although I must say while I was there I didn't really ever see any jackpots go, or bells on the slot machines. The pool was amazing, but hours for the pool in October were kinda a disappointing since it still was high 80's the whole week we were there. They were open 9-5 and most of the main pool was shade until 2-3 in the afternoon. The lazy river and wave pool were also closed. We were definatly looking forward to relaxing in the lazy river, and were quite disappointed about that. Also when you go down to the pool, don't over pay for drinks. Buy them across the street at the convenience store (the plaza where you can rent the cars), Rather then 6.50 per drink by the pool. They never once said anything to us, just make sure to pour it in a plastic cup. Overall we had a great vacation, people were always friendly and asking if there was anything they could do to make it better. House keeping cleaned our room everyday, and even changed our sheets without even being asked. The glass shower was amazing, and pressure when the toilet was flushed was awesome, who would want to complain about that! We never had to double flush! :) We will definatly go again.
