The Monte Carlo is the best kept secret on the strip! From the moment we arrived everyone from the bell man that helped us with our luggage to the check in were so very friendly and helpful. When I told the front desk that our fliht was not leaving until midnight they offered me the ability to stay in the room until 1pm without extra charge or to stay until 6pm for half the room price-that was such a great deal and really was a blessing as we could go back to the room after souvenior shopping, take a nap and get pack for the long flight home. The room was perhaps a little smaller than I had anticipated for a Las Vegas hotel but the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in anywhere! Unfortunately there was a great deal of construction goin on both for Monte Carlo and a new hotel going up and our room faced that construction but it didn't really impact our stay any-plus I enjoyed watching the construction from way up on the 14th floor. The location was great-right next door to New York, New York, a block from the Belagio and MGM. The food court offered so many different options. It was the best place on the strip. When we return in 2 years we will be staying here-no doubt about it. Don't pass this on to your friends-we like that it wasn't crowded! The only down side was that the hotel gym located in the back of the spa cost $20 a day to use even for hotel guest.

Entertainment: Short Walk, New York, New York with it's indoor roller coster and the MGM Grand with the lion habitat were only a short walk away and the M&M factory was across the street as is the Coca Cola factory! SWEET
