The Monte Carlo is an upscale hotel located a few yards away from the action of the Strip hotel and is great for those wanting to escape to European fare. They feature about 3,000 rooms which are very comfortable and reasonably priced for about $130 per night. The hotel is close to the action on the Strip and also offer luxury amenties of a spa, fitness center and a salon. The pool is nice for relaxing in the summer with large cabanas in a quiet setting. The casino features the latest in slots, table games and an action packed sports book and poker room. I like visiting the hotel for the wide variety of dining options because it is a relaxed setting, but they have a lot to choose from. For upscale Mexican food and great margaritas, I recommend Diablo's Cantina which is fun and tasty. For the steak lovers, there is the new Brand steakhouse which is upscale dining in a relaxed setting. For award winning French cuisine, I highly recommend Andre's French Restaurant. Besides dining, you can also take a slow walk on the cobblestone path to various shopping venues and they offer a great performance of Lance Burton which is magic at its finest. This is a great hotel to visit for a quiet escape in Las Vegas, and features a lot of upscale amenities.

Your reviews are so much fun to read! Someday I'm going to come out there and see what's going on in Las Vegas. Those aren't bad hotel rates.
