I was disappointed with the continual construction going on in the casino during our stay. They didn't partition the construction area well and the work crew should have cleaned up after themselves when they were done each day. Hearing jack hammers while in the casino wasn't the sound I expected. It is good to see they are upgrading, but the way it was done was very unprofessional. I was disappointed with the room service/housekeeping of the hotel. Room service carts and trays were left in hallways longer than 24 hours and I called to have them removed 3 different times. The housekeepers pushed their carts around them all the time and you would think someone other than a guest should have reminded room service to have them removed. Other than that, the hotel was average. Nothing about the hotel Wow'd me as one who had never been to Vegas would expect. Avoid the Tahiti Village time share folks immediately outside the Monte Carlo like the plague. We were informed the timeshare units were just down the strip. It took over 1/2 drive in a bus in traffic to get there. It is too far from the casinos. We were told the area is being developed and will be the new strip. After taking a closer look, the airport and golf course will always be there so they won't become casino's anytime soon and other areas are more suitable for strip malls so they are overselling their promise.

Entertainment: Long Walk, The main strip street has multiple lanes and crossing them is difficult. It would be best to stay close to one of the walkways going over the roadway so you don't have to walk three blocks down to come back up 2 blocks just to get to your ultimate goal of getting one block away.
