Monitor Audio Silver S2: The bookshelf speaker to own! I bought this set during a close out at a local stereo shop. For the price, I have yet to come across a set of bookshelf speakers that can match the sound quality these monitor audio silver S2's put out. The imaging, the transparency and the clarity are simply in a league of their own. I used to be a huge fan of tower speakers before I bought these. These managed to make me believe that smaller speakers do sound good. The speakers themselves are a work of art, placed in your living room they draw enough attention to themselves and i often get asked about them. Monitor Audio also has one of the best warranty and after sales support in the business. I recently lost a foam plug during a move and upon calling them, I was shipped a set of 2, one for each for no cost! I have been looking for their other speakers but low end stores like best buy dont carry speakers like these!
