I bought this Monistat Soothing Care powder-gel for my mother-in-law who has Cancer and is bed bound .

She was getting some itching and rash from being in bed all day and having an incontinence problem . She has to ware depends and the chaffing was getting bad .I tried the monistat soothing care powder gel  and it helped a lot and instantly made her feel much better .

It goes on like a gel but drys like a powder so its easy to apply to the affected area and is not messy or greasy . unlike a regular shake on powder its much better at getting to the area and staying there and not flying through...

I first heard about Monistat's soothing care powder gel from a salesperson at an outdoors store.  The salesperson recommended it to put on your heals before you go hiking to avoid blisters.  I thought they were crazy but I tried it and it worked really well!  The $7 I paid retail for this product was so much nicer than the expensive "no-rub" cream the outdoor store carried.

Monistat Soothing Care Powder-Gel is wonderful.  When I'm wearing a dress without panyhose, I apply the gel on the inside of my thighs and it keeps my skin soft and smooth and prevents chaffing!  I love it!  It really works!
